It's unclear if a 20 000 pound bomb can glide effectively. You can see how inaccurate fab 3000 was compared to almost precision hits by fabs 500
@@NJ-wb1czRead about the types of bombs used. Remember, the bomb used in the video is six times larger than the one you are comparing it to. Anything that breathes the surrounding air will suffocate. There is no 'missing out'.
@@NJ-wb1cz do you realize that these higher yield bombs need to be less accurate than smaller yield? can you guess why? I cant believe people would make these dumb comments. "oh a bigger bomb??? but it'll be less accurate!!!" based on what? russians can strike very deep into ukraine territory with more precise missiles or less so. if it doesnt glide then add more stabilizer fins or compressed air propulsion. whatever, it doesn't matter. ignoring everything i just said prior, these bombs are area of effect deniers instantly killing any human in a certain radius. they don't "miss" so much as you aren't in the AoE. just like prior comment mentioned.
@@Belalang_Tempur860 If your bomb misses by half a mile it's hardly useful. The 9 tonne aka 20 000 pound one will likely get progressively less accurate since air resistance isn't linear. It will definitely require a very different kit, so it's unclear how large and strong the wings have to be to handle all the forces involved in being dropped and deployed mid-air, and how feasible it is to develop the kit in some adequate time and how realistic will be the cost and time to construct one. And I bet there are few planes that can launch a 9 tonne fab properly.
Maybe it is feasible, maybe it isn't. I wouldn't say it's guaranteed. I think it very easily may be that bigger amount of smaller fabs is just more optimal to produce and use after some size
@@NJ-wb1czthe Soviet Union did make a 9000 and it wasn't all that good...one major problem for example, is burn- off of the explosive charge...if you burn just 60% of that charge, it isn't all that good. Secondly, the overall effect might be impressive to look at, yet digging a bigger hole doesn't equal more enemy casualties

4:50 that is not correct, I have seen in a different Video that there is proof from a different angle (from a motorcycle i think) and it shows a direct center hit in the building with the inside totally collapsed.
Yea seen a clip from a vehicle that building is 100% destroyed. It’s literally impossible to save anything there all the foundations will also be cracked and shifted. Depending on the upper layers it would require entire foundation up rebuild.
