溫哥華的落雪天一般只有兩三日 無雪呔絕對無問題吖
呢一兩日搭transit 或者Uber 咪好囉

落雪唔同落雨，你真係要小心個頭，落雪必需要戴返頂帽，長遠已唔講，短時間都可大可小，保重身體!
聱音唔同步... BC成十幾年冇去！有機掛睇都好正！間中出現冇壞既！依家氣候變化大左！乜環境都會發生！ALBERTA就習慣大雪！城市細出入唔太影響，TORONTO落大雪就好麻煩！因為地區大，出入開工生活較麻煩！
snow tires are not only good for snowy day but they provide more traction when temperature below 7. Normal tires will become harder and traction will not at their optimal. Vancouver still has 4 to 5 months below 7 so it still go to have snow tires change.
winter tires are created with a different bias to certain road conditions ranging from dry, wet tarmac, same for snow covered road, dry or wet, slushy or hard packed (where the fun is imho) to ice, again dry or almost hopeless studless wet, and a mix of them, look into your expected road conditions and choose accordingly, a large part has to do with winter rubber staying pliable when temperatures drop, in the ideal case use summer tire when warm and winter tire when cold assuming you can afford it, otherwise just avoid driving all together when conditions are unfavourable

溫哥華的城市設計沒有預計落雪的，所以一有雪就會好亂，我三十年前黎加拿大（多倫多），溫哥華邊會落這麼大雪㗎😮
乾雪、濕雪、溫度、地勢等影響雪地揸車.大溫多是濕雪,之後雪地多如泥濘,地勢有高有低,想雪地揸車比其他較平的地方難,好多時是上落斜有問題.雪軚、AWD等係好D,但慢及保持較遠安全距離係必需的.
要感恩下大雪仍返工的,特別係如公共交通、醫護等工種.

我家外面的雪大概30厘米，已剷雪，鄰居因為小朋友不用上學，大家在外砌雪人、散步。放假一天，大家都開心！
Calgary has been snowing for 24 hours since Tuesday afternoon, a few more accidents but things are rather normal.
If the heavy snow is only few days a year like this, I would rather staying home.
is not that heavy compare to other province. It just Vancouver people has lack of knowledge about winter driving. Luxury car and EV is not king in winter. haa

温哥华地税昂贵，到下雪天，市政府不会打理街道上积雪结冰现象，与其它城市比较，啤词省各大城市，冬季城市管理是全加拿大最差了！这笔地税资金，纯粹是市府福利了

No body will use snow tires in NYC , Chicago or Toronto ,we have more snow than Vancouver as your car is FWD or AWD you are ok.
多倫多好多車都有換雪軚
WTH…. I don’t think that’s a smart move to walk on the street during snow storm cuz the snow patches on the road are highly reducing the traction between vehicles’ ties and the road surface….. I saw cars hit pedestrians before under such circumstances…. The driver didn’t want to but lose control !!!

wet wont cause slipping only the ice on road will.
如果高溫持續時間不夠長, 部分解凍水可以重新凍結, 形成一層冰, 與半凍水混合, 這種路況(除釘胎外)盡可能避免駕駛任何坡度...基本上如果人行路已經很滑的話, 祝你好運
correct and ice on road surface is the major factor causing slipping. Wet wont cause slipping. Mark's has the winter boots with IceFx sole(some fibers mix in the rubber) can reduce slipping even on icy surface. My family all have one pair and they can tell the different.
Calgary snow about 150 days a year, snow tire is like essential
Vancouver snow about 5 days a year, some time none
So is it worth it to switch snow tire?
Keep in mine snow tire does melted away slowly if above 0 Celsius 😂😂

I lived in Calgary 30 years, never found a year have more than 50 snow days. Just this winter, under 5 snow days before New Year. Approx 6 days in January.
