Thanks pal ! :)
Man I could listen to you talk about anything even if it was something I'm not interested in haha. Great insight into custom knives 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Just came across your channel and subscribed. A fellow Okie too !!! Awesome videos.
Finished my first knife a couple months back and been waiting on cooler weather to get back at it.
Holy crap, I've only seen knives like this in pictures. And now being handled in a video! you made my day sir
A video showing craftsmanship at it's finest, us mere mortals can only watch, wish, and drool. Thanks for sharing.
Watching this again in 2021. Crazy how far you've came along, ur knives are every bit as nice as these!
Genuinely gorgeous craftsmanship. Thank you for sharing.
MORE!!! I didn't want it to end.
That Arron Wilburn stands out like a god among men. I'm absolutely enamored with that incredible feather Damascus. First time I've seen that pattern.
Just beautiful pieces of art! Would love to own any one of those.
Holy cow that feather damascus, that's a beauty.
Trolsky is brilliant. Real inspiration since he is so down to earth about it all. His style is also very much in line with the kind I like to see personally.
a great collection of knives and a pleasure to see. Trollskyy's the one for me. In one of his videos he makes a wonderful looking knife out of an old spanner. One of my favourites. An incredibly skilled maker.
Really liking that feather pattern damascus
These are some beautiful knives I would love to get one
All I can say is WOW those are some sexy blades. I recently started making knives my self this video made me realize I got a lot to learn.
They were all amazing.
All of them are true works of art.
Beautiful knives. I dig feather pattern.
OMFG THE FIRST DAMASCUSS KNIFE IS BEAUTIFUL
+Tea Fluent at 4:08?
conor is p4p number 1 yeh yeh!
Tea Fluent is it $1700 cool
I especially like that one at 4:58, easily my favorite of that bunch.
Love your knives and passion you’ll be there soon!!!
I was really hoping to see a Walter Sorrels knife in the collection, but I got all giddy with the Trollskyy blade!
*deep throats mic* "i looovvvveee that logo.."
Completely missed that and went back to hear, and omfg😂
victor trout ikr xD
+Tea Fluent Omg xD
Great colection
Wow.... Nice....more please!!!
Really great video, loved it!
that first damascus steel knife was beautiful!
would really like to see another one of these videos.
I knew that was a Fisk knife before you mentioned it.😁 Jerry makes some good stuff.
that last knife was beautiful! something I'd love to have for show !
Your guys shop is my favorite knife shop in the state
I personally aspire to make my knives as sort of a combination (or in styles similar to) Andre Anderssen and also Harvey Dean. Both of their work, though quite different, are things I try to emulate. Beautiful stuff (of course, swords are a must to make also, but I haven't been inspired by a specific person as much as just antiques).you have a crazy inventory.
I live in broken arrow and I will come check your shop out
The feather damascus knife is my favorite of the lot.
You have some beautiful knives Mr beetle. I am jealous.
the feather knife is beautiful
I can't give less than five stars and AAA+
That was awesome ,thanks for sharing
the knife at 10:12 was my favorite. the hand guard is just so beautiful!
and the sheath was my third favorite
just love to see okies make it
I wish Stout Gear would make 3/16 an option, but, even at 1/4 I still love my Ibex.
The Lon Humphrey is my favourite.
That first one is really beautiful
If you ever want to adopt a fully grown man, you look my way, eh? That feather damascus was goddamn beautiful.
love that harveydean...where is this shop...looks awesome.
I always wanted a Lon Humphreys knife too, but with a thicker handle
+Green Beatle would love to see you make a knife/machete from a 12 or 16 inch shifter (shifting spanner)
My to trick to achieve a perfect grind by hand is to only use hand tools. I take my time and use a set of needle files for fine details and sand paper from 60 grit to 1000 grit.
beautifull knives
very awesome video!
All knives, wow
When you were showing all these beautiful knives in the glass case I briefly thought you were going to melt them down and make a super knife. I really glad you didn't ha ha!
+Jason Perkins You're right, that would make the most unpopular youtube video of all time! My brother suggested I take a Cold Steel knife make a knife out of it. Heheheh.
can someone explain the reason/preference for the tang to be tapered? thanks.
I got a question, I got what seems to be a very old bayonet, it's almost a short sword, my question is how can I tell if it's been forged or even worth keeping or pay someone to make me a knife with it I can use and enjoy
4:00 min was the 1st knife to make me say oh yeah. Not surprised he is a master blacksmith.
The next one looked like an Indian pukko. Excellent little knife. 👌
I recognize 8:30 and the anzo(?) But I follow Fisk on ig. And I pretty sure he is on bladeforums too
Damn that Wilburn knifef looks amazing!
Like a feather damascus ka-bar with ivory grip :o
To be honest ALL those knives look great lol, wish I could afford stuff like that :/
Oh well, at least I get to watch lol..
sum bad ass knifes
Gorgeous blades. Love the Stout gear knife. I clicked the link but it's not working, do they ha e a new or different site now? Thanks~
They stopped making knives for the winter (they are homesteaders) but I believe have plans to start again soon. Don't know about their website I'll have to check into it.
How did you managed to get your hands on a Andre Andersson knife? His work is almost mithycal.
+ClutchKingTheJesusLizard emailed him, waited 5 months.
those were some really nice blades. what would you say was the dollar value of that collection you exhibited? 15k?
+Albion Laster The ones I own, well under a third that amount but the total for all knives shown including those owned by the shop would be about $6k.
Never saw this video until now and i knew that was a Wilburn knife before you even said it.
lol I got like a kabar and a buck 110 and I feel pretty good this collection is beyond me
Do you own any Doug Noren knifes? I hear they are really works of art
ive allways wondered why you would want an expensive knife when guns are far superior but i think i get it now some of these knifes are beautifull peices of artwork that can also have practical use
I am new to making knives I live in Shawnee, Oklahoma any classes or courses let me know please.
I love that Swedish one.
my favorite sheaths were at 4:56 and 2:58
did you find green beetle or do you just work there?
Where is his shop I live in Norman and would love to come and look at his shop
The shop has closed. :(
But I still make knives and videos :)
Is there a place where you sell these knives, like a web site maybe? Those San Mai"s are awesome.
I live I Oklahoma and there r no knife shops around me were r u located
+Sharon Reddig 79th and Memorial in Tulsa
Wow! Feels like I should have a cigarette after that, maybe even leave some cash on the bedside table! In all seriousness, wonderful presentation of some amazing work by world class craftsmen. Thanks for sharing.
Where is your store in Oklahoma? I would alove to check it out?
tulsa
Green Beetle Nice! I get through there a few times a year, might have to stop by and check it out. Thanks! love your videos.
Could you make a dirk ? Or rather will you ? That would be cool :)
Wow, you guys know how ta pick 'em! I'm a HUGE fan of Aaron Wilburn's knives and style, same goes for Lin Rhea (btw, you are corrent in that his hunter was differentially hardened. Hardened steel always etches better/more than softer steel).
I also have quite a soft spot for brute de forge knives as well, and generally like Lon's blades, although some are finished better or more symmetrical than others. However, those are his "bread and butter" knives and are purely "working" blades moreso than showing off his JS skills and fit n finish levels, because he makes those in fairly large batches since it's how he is able to continue making a living as a full time maker. Just a little bit of "fyi", fwiw. ;)
Thanks for sharing, it's not often one gets to see such a wide variety of great makers knives all in one vid, not to mention shown in 1080p. I hope to see a tour of your store sometime as well, looks likemy type of store! B)
+lsubslimed Good info, thank you.
+Green Beetle Wait, you live in Oklahoma!? That's awesome, I live there too and my friends and I started smiting not too long agoo.
+Cowboy Tanaka ago*

What is the name of your shop? can we buy knives online? just curious, there are some beautiful knives
that shop closed, i bought the name and logo when it went out of business
@@GreenBeetle ah, ok. I am still curious as to whether you sell any knives or take custom orders?
@@JOMalone3113 I have a few laying around that I made you can email me if you want to see them, they start around $200. I can't take custom orders for several more months. Thanks!
do you think it's possible to make a knife from guitar strings
+nosoupforyouever15 That would be awesome.
There is another amazing Polish knifemaker Tlim, look up his website!
+swirekster will do thanks.
+Green Beetle you should do more knife making videos
Working on it!
+Green Beetle where can I learn to smith?
In Matrix. There's a lot of 'Smithin' going on there.. :>
What's the name of the shop? Would like visit if I'm ever in your area or visit web site if you have any for sale! Thanks!
shop closed in 2018
That too bad homie! I'm a bit of a knife maker myself. Can't afford the nice stuff so I try and recreate it. Doesn't always pan out. Videos like the ones you make inspire me to keep trying. Thanks!
Aren't high carbon steel knives just as a good as a Damascus knife?
NEGAN Damascus is just layered steel, so the actual usability of it can vary tremendously. If you're talking about a production fixed blade meant for use, go for the carbon steel.
Hey, what options do you have for cutting steel without anything like plasma cutters or table saws and that sort of thing? AKA, cheap easy ways to cut steel upto 1/4 inch
I would recommend an angle grinder with a cutting disk. Grinders are fairly cheap and you can do a lot of different things with them.
Thanks! I'll look into it.
Where in Oklahoma r u in
I also want to know
that's awesome you're aspiring to make knives like these. I couldn't even aspire to HOLD one much less HAVE one much less MAKE one
If they were not functional, i would call those knives ART!!
Are you guys in Tulsa, Ok?
+fatheremmons85 yes
+Green Beetle That is awesome news. I live in Shawnee. I will be making a special trip to see your shop. New to your videos and love them.
Hey Dude can i See the Private Videos on your blade reviews? Thx for your nice blacksmith Videos. Im a Editor and I can say you Style is very interessting.
those vids are exclusive to patreon supporters
@ 8:40 😍 I'm in love I would trade my 3 karambits and m9 bayonet for that one 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😛😛😛😛😛
Why are the other 18 videos private?
they are viewable by patreon supporters
aren't some of those handles made of ivory?
+jcgoloco33 No I think it's antler or horn
+jcgoloco33 The Wilburn knife was walrus, the others are antler I believe.
Out of all of these knives, which is your favorite?
+Zanmorn 404 Fisk
I like that one
So much knife @_@
"It's got curves in the right places."
Your from Oklahoma
How does trollsky make it into the price ? Well, its Poland. Here its half of your salary, for you thats 300$
saw that feather patterned knife, thought it was beautiful, son i went on your website to maybe buy it, but i think i'll pass. little out of my budget if i'm honest.
+Olivier Nault how much im curious?
+conor is p4p number 1 1750$....
+Olivier Nault Out of my budget too. But I get to look at it most days!
Olivier Nault fooooooooooooook
+Green Beetle well looking at it everyday is pretty much what i'd do with that knife anyway, so you pretty much own it as far as im concerned
first
