In this video we show the proper way to use a check cord as a moving tether to help Rooster point set birds in an electronic bird launcher. Then we show what the complete process looks like by flushing and shooting the bird for Rooster to retreive.

Yes, he had a poker straight tail and a lot of style. He was pretty much steady at that point and we started shooting birds over him. We used the beep to build his confidence. We would shoot about every third pigeon out of the launcher over him.

Did you ever get that tail stop from flaging and how did you do it.

do you have any suggestions on how to launch a pigeon and the pigeon won't fly far then go down? I'm wanting to shoot at it with a blank then let my dog find it without actually having to shoot it.

Can i use a pigeon at this practise...? Or is bad for the dog to cath a pigeon in its mouth..?
