Mitch is the absolute goat at calling these chiefs games. Legit gives me goosebumps with some of the calls he makes.
That is why Mitch is so good at calling games for the Chiefs he's been doing this for 30 years! And you could just hear his touchdown calls they are so resonating throughout the Chiefs organization and the NFL. But what makes him so good. Is the way that he knows how to call touchdown kansas city!

Packers fan here. I spent 3 years in Lincoln Nebraska. I was able to listen to Mitch on Sundays. He's amazing. Chiefs Nation is blessed to have him calling their games. You've got to love sports on the radio.

Old guy here. I watched the game with family and listened with Nance and Romo. I kept thinking it would be great to watch the game with Mitch Holtus on radio. This is the next best thing.

I live out of market, so I subscribe to nfl plus. I watch the game but listen to Mitch. The radio broadcast is a bit behind but i love the KC broadcast so I don’t mind

I am an Eagles fan and I was rooting for the Chiefs because I always thought Andy Reid was such an excellent coach and I’m so happy that they won the Super Bowl and I love radio highlights like this. Thank you they’re always exciting to get their perspective and call from the hometownannouncer

As both a K-State and KC fan, I will never get tired of listening to Mitch Holthus call games for the Chiefs as he once did for the Cats. Hearing him call King Felix's big play was especially heartwarming!
I was born into a family of Wildcats fans. Did not know he called for K-State.
@@ratgobbler It's been a long time. Mitch called K-State games in the early days of the first Snyder era. I think he went to work for the Chiefs after the 1993 or 1994 season.

I don't get why people, including Mitch here, are saying that if the overtime rules had not changed, the Chiefs would not have won. The 49ers only scored a field goal. Even under the old rules, the Chiefs would have had a chance to posses the ball. Now, in the regular season, the 10 minute period would have run out and the Chiefs would have lost because of that, but I'm pretty sure that even under the old playoff rules, it was 15 minute periods. Am I missing something?
You're right. Maybe he's thinking of the old rules before the old rules where you could just go down, kick a field goal, and end the game?

Mitch gives me chills every week. Best in the game. I seen a sports channel using this TD call and they never heard Mitch and was like this guy does his homework and is really good.

I always pause the live TV and pop up a station on the ol interweb to link Mitch up with the game. It only takes a few pauses but I love hearing the passion of this man. I mean come on if you pay for stinking cable mine as well use it.

It’s such great karma for the Chiefs to have a great field goal kicker now when they lost so many heartbreaking playoff games I’m thinking in a 90s maybe with missing Key field goals…. I’m an Eagles fan but I’ve always kind of liked the Chiefs. I was a Marty Schottenheimer fan and I like Andy Reed.
