    Thanks for your clear description, John. I can imagine using these bags upfront on each side, in the nose instead of the optional compartments that can be fitted. Just by opening the top hatch, because they are netting, you get to see your entire inventory without so much need to peer into the dark and rummage.

    Got two VeMo bags about two months ago and find them very practical! It is where I keep my earplugs, for example... Had to always scramble for them in a regular closed bag. Now: I see them!

    LOL!! I saw this headline and I thought they were making a velomobile COVER, storage solution!!🙄🤦‍♂️ Awkward! 🤣 Really though, that would be a handy, low level security tool, a velo sack. Plus, it would keep lookeelous from mucking about the wheels.🤔

    I'm looking for an envelope-carrier. The last letter got wet from my sweat. Next time it will be the rain pooring through. But these bags are good for the summer.

    What journey are you doing? I still can't get my head around the issue of hills. Surely, they are just hard? I live in Suffolk so called flat Suffolk, but almost every ride has small lumps that add up over a ride.
    What kind of watts do you have to push to simply get up a moderate climb?
    Thanks

      @velo-ads4206  Před 2 lety

      Couple of hundred watts spinning up a moderate climb,well it depends if you have a run up or not.

      The maths for hill climbing is straightforward: Power = (riderMass + bikeMass) * gravity * slope * speed)
      Most of the mass is your body weight, whether you're riding a bike (~10kg) or a velomobile (~20kg).
      edit to clarify: the equation is for riding at constant speed (power is reduced if you're slowing down - hence velo-ads remark about having a run-up), and also is just for the power required for hill climbing - not rolling or air resistance.

    That’s a very expensive bag! I like the idea but I think they even can make profit when selling them for 1/4th of the price. I don’t see any reason to buy it

    • @markifi
      @markifi Před 2 lety +2

      i'm pretty sure poundland sells 3 of these for 2 pounds if you're willing to come up with a way to stick them on the fairing

    • @pedroclaro7822

      yep insane price. i can make twenty of those in a day for half the cost of one single bag

      Yeah. Much too expensive. Gives me an idea for making something like that myself though.

      I love the high quality. These bags are also hand made. You won‘t get this type of quality netting in a pound shop. And someone who pays thousands for a velo cant afford a measly 45 quid? That‘s more than hilarious.
