Speech therapy is super common, especially when it comes to the letter R! Your tongue was just a WEAKLING and needed the workout of speech therapy. Be glad you got those services too, because clearly it comes through in adulthood. Lots of people make assumptions about... intelligence levels... when they hear a person with a "lazy tongue" like this. I'd definitely get my child into speech therapy as a service to their future.
My parents’ rules of non-negotiables for parenting regardless of cost: braces and speech therapy. They say you can not send a kid into the world with bad teeth or speech issues!
Be careful though how do you address the situation w ur kids. I cant pronounce R and I remember this time when my mom just stormed into my school saying I cant pronounce it. Hey Coop! Big Game of Thrones fan here, id defintely recommend watching the series, for clarification: the show caught up to the books at about season 4/5 so they began making stuff up after that. Season 5 and 6 manage to keep it feeling somewhat consistent with the earlier seasons/the books but season 7 and 8 really start to dip in quality as you can tell the writers were struggling to maintain everything going on. Personally, there are moments in 7 and 8 that are really well done, the battle of Winterfell in season 8 is pretty spectacular but unfortunately, the writing lets it down and the ending feels very rushed. TL;DR: i would watch up to season 6 if you really want to avoid the big dip in quality, but there are definitely moments that will make seasons 7 and 8 if you can get past where you can feel the writers give up, but worth it for the sake of seeing where your favourite characters end up (if theyre not dead by then) OR you could jump into House of the Dragons, the second season has just started, its set decades before the main series and its got heaps of dragons, id 100% recommend it, thanks for reading :)

I make other remote media appearances occasionally, generally to be interviewed as an expert, and I'll say that it was a lot like them except the shooting took SO much more time and they were much more concerned with lighting and framing the shot than the newsier stuff I've done. My main gripe is that thet made it SO EASY on the guesser, like they fed him questions that weeded us out pretty easily, that's what I meant by "do you dirty" - I was there to play and I felt like it was obvious what my trait was pretty early. They also kept us like an hour and a half after the scheduled time and I was starving by the end so I try to keep in mind that these people probably have to just wait around on set for hours after their segment and depending on craft services might be hungry and who's their best self when they're hungry and bored LOL. Now that COVID restrictions are done they ONLY cast from Seattle (Cooper was wrong about LA, they don't shoot there), which always struck me as weird because as diverse as they manage to cast, Seattle is the whitest major city in the country to the last of my knowledge. So the representation you're getting sort of filters down through 1) lives in driving distance of Seattle, 2) is typically under 40, 3) looks decent enough by whatever standards they use (they had us send pictures), 4) for the sake of diverse representation a lot of the cast comes from the relatively smaller BIPOC community in the area (compared to LA, NY, etc), and 4) WANTS to be on camera and is willing to let whatever version of themselves comes out in the edit go out to an audience of potentially millions. I think that's why sometimes in earlier Cut videos you'd see someone on multiple casts.

@@sumlem It was a remote appearance during COVID. I make other remote media appearances occasionally, generally to be interviewed as an expert, and I'll say that it was a lot like them except the shooting took SO much more time and they were much more concerned with lighting and framing the shot than the newsier stuff I've done. My main gripe is that thet made it SO EASY on the guesser, like they fed him questions that weeded us out pretty easily, that's what I meant by "do you dirty" - I was there to play and I felt like it was obvious what my trait was pretty early. They also kept us like an hour and a half after the scheduled time and I was starving by the end so I try to keep in mind that these people probably have to just wait around on set for hours after their segment and depending on craft services might be hungry and who's their best self when they're hungry and bored LOL.
Now that COVID restrictions are done they ONLY cast from Seattle (Cooper was wrong about LA, they don't shoot there), which always struck me as weird because as diverse as they manage to cast, Seattle is the whitest major city in the country to the last of my knowledge. So the representation you're getting sort of filters down through 1) lives in driving distance of Seattle, 2) is typically under 40, 3) looks decent enough by whatever standards they use (they had us send pictures), 4) for the sake of diverse representation a lot of the cast comes from the relatively smaller BIPOC community in the area (compared to LA, NY, etc), and 4) WANTS to be on camera and is willing to let whatever version of themselves comes out in the edit go out to an audience of potentially millions. I think that's why sometimes in earlier Cut videos you'd see someone on multiple casts.
