Ayreon isn’t a band but one of several projects by Arjen Lucassen. The drummer is Anneke van Giersbergen’s husband. Without her there probably wouldn’t be Floor Jansen as a rock/metal singer. Several other famous female Dutch metal singers are there because of her.

Re: "is that stonehenge?" -- yep, the song is about Stonehenge. Specifically how a person looking back in time sees how it was created -- by a gathering of druids, who in the end turned to stone, becoming Stonehenge.
