I'm from Brazil and discovered the rise scholarship when I was scrolling my tiktok and this is my chance to realize my dream. My english is not good and this looks so impossible to win, but I can't give up, I'll try my best to win and use my creativity to do. I'm a little anxious about this, but I will pray and try hard

It is just a like “identify” the pattern type of questions.

@@-Hasnaa- there are different “dices” and they follow a pattern. Then you are given different options and you need to figure out what dice continues that patters. It is a timed quiz.

I have no idea how many participants there are, it changes every year. I’m guessing it is thousands of people.
All steps need to be completed by the deadline that I mentioned in the video. You can also check the website just to make sure.
No! The winners are known until July (I believe).
The project needs to be whatever format you decide.

I just found out about rise an hour ago and I really really want to join. Unfortunately, I no longer have the time to prepare a project as the application ends next month. I was hoping if you know similar organizations like this that offers to college students since ill be turning 18 and gonna move on to college next year so I wouldn't be able to join the next one. It really pains me that I didn't find this sooner 😭😭. It would've been a really great opportunity

Hello, I have already thought of a whole plan and my goals and what topics I want to talk about. My main concern is which part where I put my completed product at?
There is four parts as you know.
Par 1: Focus and Research
Part 2: Design and Plan
Part 3: Act and Reflect
Part 4: Summary
which one I have to put? ngl the instruction lowkey making me confused *panicking*
Acl and reflect is the part where you should put your project. I would also advice you to show your project and reflect on it, that it means to you and how you got to where you are. Think of the whole process!

My biggest tip is to trust yourself and be confident in your own ability. Also keep your eye out for emails and extra information.
are there minimum length requirements for the videos you submit? because some of the videos for the project says 30+ minutes and the maximum length per video you can upload is 5 mins; do I have to upload them in parts? And how do I make enough information for a 30 minute video
I believe that the videos that need to uploaded into your Rise application need to be 5 min. You are not going to be able to share your whole project, but you can talk about it and maybe edit a sort of “trailer” to show what your projects is about.

Hi! Thank you for making this video!! I wanted to ask if you received a certificate for being a finalist. I just discovered the rise scholarship and I have a project in mind, I believe it is good enough to be a finalist but since I don’t have much time left, I have doubts if I can make it good enough to be a winner project.

There is a finalist round and then the global winners. I don’t know when they will announce the winners.
The deadline is Tomorrow and i didn't even start filming the videos or even write the answers but still working and im sure m gonna make it ❤️

I believe it is better to actually implement the project, but you only have a couple of days left!

I believe there is a part that is called “reflect” maybe under there. I think you only have to talk about your project and maybe show its impact.

I have some answers for you!
1) The hello world app is no longer the way to apply to Rise.
2) The camera is just pointing at you the whole time.
3) I think it is better to focus your project on what you like to do, your passions and talents. Something that is meaningful to you and that will help you stand out!

Hello! I would advice you firstly to not doubt yourself, please apply. Second, the videos do not have to be amazing quality, but the content must be good a clear. Your project has to be focused on your life and what problematic you want you solve. Maybe the challenges in your life are what drives your passions and therefore your project should be focused on that.
