Absolutely emmy worthy! And I’m glad he’s come back. It makes sense that if people had really gone through the events of season 2 they would still struggle with the trauma, and as brother & new husband it makes sense that Doug would be near the surface of the subconscious of both men.

I love the Buck & Tommy storyline.
I hate the very old, very hypocritical idea that gay men are bad while gay women are hot. If you’ve BEEN watching, then homosexuality can’t ruin the show because we’ve already got a long term gay relationship. Just admit you’re homophobic about gay men & maybe ask yourself why that is & if there’s something you’re not dealing with.
I honestly believe it’s unusual to be 100% gay or straight. Most people just learn one way or another. If you can accept that, you can fall in love with someone’s soul, not gender.
I guess some would consider me bi. I’ve been attracted to & dated both men and women. But I’ve only fallen in love with men & I’ve been in a monogamous relationship with a man for 17 years. I lean straight. But if my partner left me & the next person I met & felt connected to happened to be a woman, I wouldn’t turn away the chance at love just because of body parts.
I know some people just couldn’t be attracted to the opposite/same sex. Kinsey scale puts straight at 0, gay at 6. I think most people are 2, 3 &. 4. Unfortunately social conditioning has taught us that it’s wrong to feel attraction to your own sex.
As Buck, with his history of relationships, I think people assumed he’s a 0-1 (very straight). Looks like he’s more towards the middle & open to falling for the person, for Tommy. I understand people being surprised but i think it’s beautiful.

I like Oliver but as a Gay man I really hate that the casting crew would hire a straight guy and then have his character become gay....We are tired of Straight actors taking jobs away from real gay actors especially when you can find more gay actors who are better looking and much more talented as actors because they are gay where as straight men don't show emotions etc as much in shows so where is the challenge for them...a dozen men could play the same part but its wrong to glorify straight actors and reward them financially big time for acting gay...that is so hypocritical and discriminating for Hollywood to still be able to do this.....I hope the show gets cancelled now.....!

Who said the actor who played Buck was chosen NOT because he was the best actor for the role they could find? Are you even a casting director? Are you involved in the project? Jim Parson is gay, played a straight character in The Big Bang Theory, and I dare you to name an actor who could play the Sheldon character better than him, straight or gay. Oliver did a good job on the role and fans like it. And you are belittle him because his actual sexuality doesn't match his role. It is an acting! If you don't like it, don't watch the show. Or create your own show according to your liking. Do not belittle other people's work because it doesn't agree with your agenda.

We have plenty of gay actors on television. Regardless of whether they play straight or queer characters, they are phenomenal actors. Neil Patrick Harris, Jim Parsons, Anna Paquin, Zachary Quinto, I can go on. A role is a role, nobody is betraying anybody or stealing jobs from anyone.
