Thank you so much for this great viseo. May I ask where you have that beautiful black and white washi tape with teh funny objects
Thank you the great video. Would you explain how to add text to vellum? When I research that, I see only information about a book formatting program called Vellum.
Good❤❤❤❤❤❤🎉
Did I miss how to make the little book base?
Love this so much!
💕💕💕
It’s just a passport sized travellers notebook insert ☺️
I’m doing a collage with tree’s that I have painted for a project!
That’s so cool!
Thank you so much for sharing this video; so helpful. Would you mind letting me know where you purchased your brown/cognac grid washi tape?...love it!😊
Thanks for watching! I wish I could tell you but I can't remember sorry, I've had it for a while!
Meg this is awesome! Thx for doing this series. What pen did you use for the white ink towards the end of the video?
Uniball Signo!
So much great techniques, thankyou. Can I ask how you transferred the text that you rubbed on please? , is it a specific type of paper? 😊
They’re called rub-ons ☺️
Looking forward to this series. Your videos are so inspiring! 😊 would you mind sharing the link to the rub on sheets you use please TFS 😍
Thanks so much! The ones I use are by the brand MU, I get them from Miso Paper online if you’re in the UK :)
Yes, I’m in the uk, thank you 😊
Hi, where did you find the roll of clear stickers ❤️thank you!
Hi, they're PET tapes :)
Where do you get your sheets of small florals
How to make a collage of tilted patterns
Also how do you suggest attaching fabric so glue doesn’t show through?
You could attached with a staple!
1. MIX types of papers and build up layers - (book pages, junk mail, receipts, wrappers, news paper, magazine, music notes)
2. implement TORN edges instead of rigid cut for an organic feel
3. (3:07) “COLLAGE CLUSTERS”, visually cohesive/complimentary compositions of papers of different sizes
4. image cut outs (images, photographs, books)
5. WASHI TAPE - creates visual interest
6. STICKERD (can be free from packaging)
7. STITCHING - use thread, 3D tactile element
8. FABRIC - (staples or fabric glue)
9. get creative with TEXT - cut out letters or text or create with pens and paint
10. think outside the box when it comes to elements you can include, FOUND elements are great (leaves, flowers, packaging etc.)
What are those stickers you cut out from the roll? What brand? Thanks
It's called Pion 'PET Tape - Twilight' - a little pricey but you get a lot on the roll! :)
How do you manage to not get bubbling when using a glue stick?
I tend to find bubbling is more likely if you use a wet glue like PVA, never had issues with a glue stick
What glue do you like to use?
Can’t beat a pritt stick imo! :)
Can I ask what book you use as your base? Or do you make your own? X
It’s a travellers notebook insert in passport size ☺️
I have a real question. After you have made these journals, what do you do with them? Do you write in them? Photos?
You could do! Most of the time I leave them as they are because I enjoy making the art, I have a whole shelf full.
@@megjournals ahhhh. Thank you!! I love them. Just wasn’t sure what to do with them!
Ok I've watched twice. I need to process and I will be back
0:03 Text Tutorial Please 🙁
those pink flowers look really off because they are too big everything disappears from view because they are hot pink. off balance
why would you put the flower page OVER the yellow flowers underneath 🤦🏻♀️
Because I preferred them 🤭 covering up is something the nature of collage!
