A few weeks ago ago I played a tournament in Checotah OK. No only was it really boring, it was insanely windy which left a bad taste in my mouth from the state of OK. Today I return back to the state to play the Blackhawk Disc Gold Course. I was not disappointed at the long technical course.

This was a canon oklahoma experience. Redhawk is pretty as well, but yeah they dont drain

Emily did a pretty good job being behind the camera. The camera shake was expected because if she’s the one holding it and she’s not a professional photographer videographer, it’s understandable.
Nice course, great camerawoman, and your homies would be lucky to have that nice of a water bottle.

You should have them played RedHawk to enjoy that wind and keep you from that speeding ticket. Blackhawk is not normally that wet!!!
April is the windiest month in Oklahoma. Literally 30mph+ winds every day for whole month
If you haven’t drove to Texas yet another great course is lions park in Norman ok.
This is a relatively open course compared to Charlotte. Looks fun as hell though.
Free pro tip….I carry a baseball in my bag at all times for tree discs! Way better than getting my discs or water bottles stuck in the trees 😂
What’s the best plastic to find a flat A2? Seems like all of them have some sorta raise flight plate with a little dome.

As an Oklahoma disc golfer most of the courses I play are pretty open and the wind makes putting rough 😭

Love that u stopped in Tulsa for disc golf but hate that u played Blackhawk when it isn’t maintained. Haikey Creek Park is the other great course in Tulsa in my opinion

My grandma was from Oklahoma durint the dust bowl era. When I used to travel trom West Virginia to Arizona to see friends she used to always kill me, "Now remember dont stop in Oklahoma, theres nothing there. No reason." I used to laugh and just assure her id drive through.

@joshhunter6416 Yeah, man, it was not fun though in the moment. Storm behind it kicked it up just in time, or we would have been wiped off the earth. Friends in Barnsdall are not as lucky. :/ Headed to disc golf park to teach some Boy Scouts disc golf today.
