Pulled by the powers inside the earth - it’s alive, this swing , a living sculpture, And down thru contact always down...striking the ball crisply , with character.
@Rblks - correction. thats Roy McAvoy aka Tin Cup (played by kevin costner) the legend driving range pro is John Daily. which Roy McAvoy character is based upon...thought you knew it?..all
true true. A lot of people make the mistake of stretching their arms first, then their shoulders, and finally their hips. but rightly it's all at the same time but it's very difficult to train and it takes a long time to realize that you don't need strength but precision and technique
@@Locadel2003 Happy Gilmore was just a ridiculous comedy, a good comedy, but not even a real masterpiece like Caddyshack. Tin Cup is the real golfers golf movie. Actually, a real athlete's movie.
Roy McAvoy aka Tin Cup (kevin costner) Everything about and attached to this character is based on John Daily. Everything in this movie comes from Johns Life...everything!
Opening scene Tin Cup 3rd best pick up line in movie all time. after Tom Cruise “Lost that Lovin feelin” scene top gun an Pacino Tango scene in “Scent Woman”
Costner didn't play sports guys..he played their character. I worked with golf pros who acted just like him. I wish so had a dollar for everytime I told a head golf pro they were full of sht
he got lessons prior to and during the filming and they had to shoot his actual golf swing scenes in a certain way to make him not look like a hacker/slasher spraying ball all ova the place 😂 (look at his swing scenes it’s from the waist up) you’ll see it
I love this movie. Could watch it a million times......in a row? Anybody else.
I think I have actually.... Never get tired of it!
its on hbo now :) have at it! (i sure have haha)
What's it called?

“Such a pure feeling is a well struck golf shot”
Perfection unattainable
Greatest Golf movie ever!
One of my favorite movies, and I don't even care for golf.

Like a freakin unfolding lawn chair?
Excellent film..
Excellent dialogue
Excellent cast
When Kevin says "grip it and rip it"!!

I fall in love with him more.
Pure greatness, a classic movie with a legend playing Roy Mclroy the driving range pro!

"tempo is everything, perfection is unattainable"
But also grip it and rip it

"a little nod to the gods"
"Grip it and rip it" LOL.
My favorite way to swing a golf club!!! 🤣😂😎🏌️♀️🤘👍⛳
Whoever wrote this scene is a genius.
Whoever wrote the movie was a sicko. There are so many small details that only someone who lives and breathes the game would think to add to the movie
He's doing that Arnold Palmer thing
Zero dislike, this scene is magnificent!!!
He’s doing that poetry thing again
The peanut gallery comments are the best.
Bet she has a golf watch
Charmed her.... She thought he was a dumb ass til he laid the poetry on her
Strike With character in everything you do
"Did that tuning fork ring in your loins?"
I hate golf but adore this movie!
One of my favorite scenes from the BEST golf movie ever. Sorry Caddyshack, but Tin Cup is the best golf movie ever.
What about happy Gilmore
Still the Best!
@@rickthecountrydj7404 great movie, excellent soundtrack

When you hit that ball , you know ❤
Love it❤
Marvelous. Times 10.
its like he emulated rory mcilroys name but he wasnt even thought of when the movie released
It's almost like this reality is manifested, and synchronicity happens often. And Rory Mcilroy was destined to be a golfer because he was.
I have to agree more with the doctor. I tend to be from the grip it and rip it school myself. Lol
Yeah you got it
Opening scene Tin Cup 3rd best pick up line in movie all time. after Tom Cruise “Lost that Lovin feelin” scene top gun an Pacino Tango scene in “Scent Woman”
If she strokes it. He will come...
Didn''t finish the scene? I wanted to see him hit the ball.
Keepin the beat homoiez. Cpt JypsyJenn
Something like that
Damn I am a grip it and rip it girl. Lol that's the only way I hit the golf ball. ⛳
Molly the phych has some issues too why go to a driving range after dark?
Joseph Hickman because the Texas Sun is unbearable at times
