He sure is.. Too bad he gets paired up with the guy with the most annoying voice, who won't shut up, is over the top dramatic, and tries to be a know it all, as if he is the ultimate CrossFit expert of every single movement in every single event.

I think this has more to do with ESPN being a SINKING SHIP vs anything on Crossfit's side of things. ESPN has been in a tailspin and recently laid off most of their top talent. Something tells me they came to CF with a sweat heart deal that CF could not pass up. It sucks of course, and I am not giving a penny to espn(for many reasons) and am disappointed.
I don't think I am owed free CF games coverage but when that is what you have been giving people for years you don't just yank it last second. I did notice today(Day2) they list ESPN next to the final event of the day, which they forgot/overlooked yesterday.
IN CLOSING: People, you have no idea how good CF is for being a young sport. Go look up the history of NBA/MLB/NFL during their first 25 years and you will see why there is NOTHING we can really complain about.
With all the stupid overpriced crap I see the average trainer buying I don't think 10 bucks to watch the games is a big deal, but it ABSOLUTELY should have been talked about much sooner and clearer.

I don't care how much you call it TEST. Everyone will call it EVENT forever. Including me
I worked for six different corporations during my career, and in every single one I saw multiple examples of the same syndrome. A new guy in any position of authority had to change something to make his mark, and prove that he was *doing something*. 9 times out of 10 whatever was changed accomplished nothing constructive. Changing "event" to "test" has exactly that same odor -- a change just for the sake of changing something so "someone" can stroke his ego.

Watching the bike races with no leaderboard across the top of the screen, and then seeing these comments that I'm not going to be able see some events at all?? I get the sense that Crossfit wants to wean me off wanting to watch the games events. (Sorry, "tests".) On top of no Tia, no Mal, no Haley, I was already having a hard time getting excited to watch any of this. Also, did I miss something, or did they never put up a graphic of the results after female and male bike races?? This just goes from bad to worse.

The coverage of event 3 on ESPN2 is a joke. They are only showing the final heat for the women and men. This seems to happen every time CrossFit partners with a major network for coverage. Very little coverage.
It really sucks that the actual winner of the Inverted Medley in the Mens division was not interviewed but Justin Medeiros was? Not cool, in my opinion...

Closed captions on any European sport is entertaining. Tadej Pogacar, Tour de France rider, is Teddy Pikachu. During sprint stages that can be a bit boring you just turn on closed captions and enjoy the British commentators pronounce a variety of European names and the CC interpretation is awesome. Lol.

You’ve made it so that your own athletes have had to create a group to ensure their safety and protection, you’ve sold a movie that doesn’t allow you to use closed captioning on Amazon, I mean who cares about your hearing impaired viewers anyway and you left out events during semifinals that we all would have loved to have watched live as opposed to 24 hours later. Well, I just paid for ESPN + not realizing I need a TV provider. Been waiting for this all year. Even took a half day from work to watch.
Ok. Finally figured it all out. Couldn't have told us earlier? I watch everything and never knew this would be an issue. I don't mind paying. I love the athletes and the broadcasters. I want everyone to get paid, but why not let us know. I missed all of the women's event 3.
This happened to me a while back. I called and asked for a refund because the ad was “misleading” and they returned my money.

Madeiros and Dukic had en epic crash around 24 minutes. Madeiros tried to pass on the inside and the oncoming rail forced him into Dukic. Lots of swearing, some blood, and Dukic lost a lot of time trying to put the chain back on his bike.

Wow! Anyone’s fault? I always feel that these open bike events are a little out of place at the games. Riding in a peloton is an extremely specific skill. I did it for years and it never got easier. So much space for error and accidents. And people with less experience are super dangerous. I also hated the crit. Though more boring. A time trial sort of event would be better to measure fitness (imo)

I see these people put out such tremendous effort. And it's just a sad reality that they won't get the good payday until CF figures out how to create a larger fan base and use the games like the NFL uses the Super Bowl.
Tia earns 30k a month. Addler earned over 300k in winnings in one year. The majority of crossfitters, have no regular income from crossfit, just like the majority of other sports athletes. At which point you have to ask, does a "not at the top pf the field" crossfitter be paid more than a golfer in the same space? Tennis, cricketers, athletics, all are in the same boat. They have fought for years to be seen as a respectable sport and now fans want the athletes to be treated better than other athletes. That isn't rational. They won't build it too much either, as long as you get idiots who can barely stand whining about kipping. They have given the games out for free and it still isnt that mainstream. That says all you need to know. They have the ability to earn big and they are trying to make it mainstream.

Where is the 3rd event of the day? Also, why are there no highlight videos posted for each event? I'd love to follow the sport more, but I can't because of your broadcasting. If you want to be taken serious as a global sport then appropriate broadcasting for your followers should be a focus...
Event 1 was a debacle to watch. Can’t tell who anyone is and no leaderboards during the races.
Never expected to see a CrossFit athlete doing a flying mount on a bike. I just didn’t think they practiced cycling enough to learn flying mounts.

After the disastrous coverage of the semis is anyone surprised by the lack of coverage. It’s disappointing an organization that wants to grow their sport hinders people from seeing it. Do better.
