I have Epilepsy. And I have heard my fair share of taunts and snide remarks from relatives, friends and ex-boyfriends.
I had made up my mind that I'm better off alone. Until I met the guy who just shrugged and said "It's fine. I don't mind it at all." When I told him about my condition.
Today he sent me this video and said "You should watch this, it's a really sweet video".

I have Bipolar, my wife PCOS. Arrange marriage, its not easy. She is thousands of miles away working on-site in Taipei. I miss her. Almost 3 years and I am still finding new ways to fall in love with her. This video make me smile and cry at the same time. Bless you, FilterCopy team.

@@gouravbansal51192 it is fine if you're disciplined with your medication and take it regularly and keep track of your mood. I have not had any major incidents so far. My manic episode happened way back in 2018, and I haven't relapsed since then. Regular therapy and knowing your own mood and energy really helps. Try journaling, it might help with keeping track of whether you are swinging up or down.

- Mausi/Bua are not like this in 21st century. No body stay in home for 3-4Din. Nor anybody say mean thing like this, as everybody know that egoistic generation won't spend a second to break relations.
- Guys don't have so few stuff that can fit in 1 bag. And Girls don't have so few stuff that can 1 cupboard.
- Only taking doesn't make anybody fall in love. Even friends talk & enjoy. Marriage only works when both people are 100% committed to each other.

My mother was also suffering from epilepsy even when she was pregnant with me she had many seizures and after I was born more than her health she was concerned about whether I had got any disease as my dad has also diabetes love you mumma

Seizures during pregnancy can endanger the life of both the mother and foetus. One of my students was epileptic and dropped out of courses because the light from the projector triggered him sometimes. He is sadly no more now and his father called me one day informing me of his death during one seizure episode.
In a bid to remove stigmas, there is a tendency nowadays to downplay risks, by pharma companies, medical researchers and the media and social media. Often concerns surrounding some health conditions are quite valid. The condition should never be hidden from a future spouse in the hope that they will accept it once married. It's people's choice whether they accept something before marriage or would like to avoid the risks. I don't think it is fair to judge folk. Married life and life as a parent can be quite stressful physically, mentally and emotionally. Any one or all of these stresses lead to seizures every now and then. Even if an episode lasts for a brief while it can be traumatic and distressing for children and family members to witness it each time as it is equally for the sufferer having the seizure as well.
I am so happy and glad that people are finally paying more attention to causes like this and raising awareness, kudos 💜💜💜

I myself have suffered from Epilepsy for 12 years of my life n had my treatments going on. But I didn't face much of an issue because I had very supportive family n my school teachers and friends were also very supportive about it and my issue.
Not everyone has that so I just want to say you are no different and you are being equally loved ik ignoring misconceptions will be difficult but it is the only way that you would have peace of mind.
