Back to the style that first drew me in; I can’t express how happy I am to hear this
Its kinda funny glitch mob has like no haters, sure not everyone likes everything theyre doing all the time, but I've really never seen anyone calling them trash. Also no dislikes before even having watched the video. I guess its because there isnt much polarizing about them.
Caster Louis i feel like their previous work on the first album was almost flawless, and everything leading to this has just been watering down what they did with drink the sea, so no one can ever really find it offensive enough to "hate" it if that makes sense.

but yes, you know how most albums have that one GEM song, wich is gemiest of them all and makes the whole album worth it even if the rest of it were trash?
the whole drink the sea was made of this kind of gems, yes :)

killer destroyer: same here, but he's got a bit of a point there. firstly, the first time always feel best. the more you listen to a certain type of stuff, the more you get used to it and the less it feels like something amazing(ly new/unique) after a time.
secondly, they really changed their production a bit, made it a bit less intensive, pulled it more towards massive-attack-y atmosphere, a bit more subdued and calm.
so compared to the first or second album, it does seem "weaker", although i'd argue it's really just because of the change in vibe/intention.
I cannot overstate how this track gets deep in my mind. True art. Too advanced for its time

Legacy's soundtrack is perfectly fine, daft punk did a great job. However I would totally be down if glitch mob did the soundtrack for tron 3.

That was my favorite movie ever.
I got to see them live in ATL 2024. Drove all the way from TN. I love these guys so much. I even looked them in face and told them I loved their music. They were literally five feet away from me.
My son could listen to and watch these videos for literal days and I am ok with that because he could have been born with bad taste in music but somewhere I was blessed
Being a fan of Daftpunk, and their music for the techier demographic, See Without Eyes, and Drink the Sea was a great discovery.
Always did have the musical taste of a transformer though.

Why why why why is this not popular!? This type of genre what drew me that reminded me of initial glitch mob. It's one of those type of music let's you take on journey in a very immersive way. I wish i can explain further. Shit I love this type of music.

The song title is "disintegrate slowly" so for some giggles i decided to speed it up to 1.25 to see how "disintegrate" would have sounded like, then i speed it up to hear "disintegrate fast" at 1.5 and "Disintegrate lightspeed" at 2.0... Great "songs"... :D i like the song but know that i've heard it at 1.25 speed i think thats actually my preference.

KILLER DESTROYER i actually dont agree, i believe theyre just losing their raw sound and actually regressing instead of progressing with their innovativity. this song is a bit of an exception, but i feel like the new album was really forgettable and frankly quite boring

KILLER DESTROYER, that is a really bad reason. I am new and I love this. But the other songs in the album were lame. I was new to Rezz when I first heard her, and she was instantly my favorite artist. And I loved Virtual Riot's music, but then as I became "not new" I started getting bored. So I think that is a really bad reason.

how does one get tons of attention if they make "niche" music? Of course pop music gets more attention every body can enjoy pop music but not everyone will enjoy this type of music.
And among the electro genre I believe they're basically considered mainstream (as in everyone who's into electro knows them, I'm not saying mainstream in a bad way)
