The nios super chargers will still get tons of revenue and they will also use the stations to sell energy, that in the worst case scenario this happens. But I anyways dont see that happening in like a decade if ever happens , by that time nio will alteady have done tons of revenue with the swappings and will have adapt. Thats my point of view of this situation.

IMO any company that would develop sutch a battery would be shooting themselves in the foot, as Mitch allready explained this swap stations, are the future gas stations, remember what happened to the guy who invented the Hidrogen power car, trying to make gas stations unnacesary, that's right he was never heard of again and the invention was stolen or destroyed, the same would happen to a guy trying to take the whole cake away from the big boys investing in the new energy era!
