i have a 2nd gen 2001 3500 and i want to do the same do i really need to swap the frame from a nother truck as i see most videos is what they do to convert to 4x4, is there a 4x4 conversion kit out there to make it easier??

They sale sleeves to ovoid getting burned. Next time your at your local welding supply store. Maybe were your oxygen is sold. I used them for welding and fabrication.
Sorry if this is a stupid question..... but your coilovers have a 14 inch travel ....won't your truck be taller than a 7 inch lift ..... love the content thank you
Cut everything off the axle. Including the 4 link brackets. Start fresh and build new brackets with 3/8 plate and long radius arm swap instead of the little stubby T. rex arms.

Add the coil over to the middle where the coil spring base was.
Make sure your diff gears are the same in the front as the back man otherwise the transfer case wont mesh
The front axle is 4.10 gears so I’m gonna have to re gear the front axel to match the rear axle

I have a welding jacket that I usually use but it was at my house getting washed

Plasma torch way to go , you can rent them. But a 220 powermax is only $1800 and it has its own compressor. And you have it for life.
Power max air is the way. 220 or 110 no need for a compressor.
