My first non-bandai kit, I picked it up because the images online looks so good and it is in real life. Visually everything is stunning, the clear parts add so much nice color and the gold frame as well. Articulation is great enough, of course I expected very tight joints here so make sure to sand it down a bit. What I dislike is the poseability. The backpack is too heavy to try and pose this kit nicely, and I honestly am too scared to leave it hanging on an action base, so standard standing pose throughout hehe. For the price is like a smaller MG and it is nice to have as a display collection, decals are phenomenal too.

Nicely done! I had trouble panel lining and cleaning up the parts around the edges, do you have any tips for that? Also was taking out the armor pieces tough as I've heard its a tight fit and want to matte coat it too. Did you just spray it while it had the black parts on or did you mask/take the outer parts off for topcoating?
Thanks! The easiest way to get clean lines are to rescribe the existing lines which is what I'm trying to learn on. I forgot to take off the gold parts when topcoating so now everything is matte haha, and yes the plastic is a tight fit.
@@knitehobby wow for something thats matte coated, the shine is still there. Is that why the gold part on the helmet looks darker?
Would've liked to try scribing on this one but knowing that its all abs seems like a problem for the panel liner to seep in. What scribing tool did you use?
I accidentally scratched the paint off the v-fin so I tried to recolor but it's a different shade of gold so oh well..
I'm using dspiae's tungsten scriber

Is the sword effect included or sold separately? Can't seem to find a shop that specify this info
It's limited to the first batch, I believe they are on the second batches so it might be tough to find a first batch one

Is this the version 2? What is the difference with version 1?
It's the first batch, I don't plan to get the V2 but from the image I think it's just a color revision
Ver.2 comes with average clear parts(not prism)
and the antenna is yellow(not gold like ver.1)
People got wrong info that the clear parts is the bonus but actually clear parts is part of the set.
Prism color was specialty of 1st batch not the clear parts itself.
The actual bonus is the gold frames.
These are still provided with current batches but who knows when its done.
Did you apply top coat to this kit?
Yep, topcoated the whole thing

I almost always go matte, gloss for kits that are majestic like the MG wing zero ew haha

Ey thanks, I use Tamiya accent panel line and the thinner as well
@@knitehobby maybe ill try your method, panel lining the parts before assembling it
I find it much easier as well, because if assembled there may be gaps where it's hard to clean up

It's basically an MG stargazer but made by a third party company
I'm surprised Bandai hasn't made:
- MG GSX-401FW Stargazer Gundam
- MG GAT-X105E Strike Noir Gundam [Ver 2.0]
- GAT-X1022 Blu Duel Gundam
- GAT-X103AP Verde Buster Gundam
I guess maybe with the popularity of the SEED Freedom movie, we might be getting a lot more releases.
There is still 4 more kits to be announced tomorrow, hopefully one of them is an MG
