  • The interpupilary distance (IPD) is the distance between the centers of the left and right eye pupil. If the interpupilary distance of the binocular does not match your eyes, you may see shadowing or two distinct images.

    ipd doesn't seem to be a spec that is readily searchable on binocs. My daughter needs binocs with ipd of 51mm. the min is usually around 55 mm. ipd's this small (51 mm) are usually found on children's binocs. My daughter needs a good quality set of binocs, yet, the kiddie binocs don't seem to have good specs.
    Any suggestions on how we can search for binocs with ipd of 51mm on quality binocs?
