- Ethiopia Keeps Surprising Me! In this Ethiopia travel vlog I was in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia for the Ethiopian Orthodox Christian celebration of Timket, otherwise known as Epiphany. I was interviewed on Ethiopian news about the festival I attended in Janmeda, Addis Ababa. It was so fun playing all the games, which look easy but are super difficult. It is amazing how millions of people gather in this one place in Addis Ababa to celebrate this orthodox holiday. It was my first time experiencing something like this in Ethiopia Ethiopia keeps surprising me.

Ethiopia was actually one of the first countries to adopt Christianity. Before most of the world did so just completely different from Catholicism & western Christianity. Actually more like Judaism

Why did you never go to Timkat when you lived there? How long did you live there?
Its because Timkat is not very celebrated in Addis, it is celebrated in Gondar the epicenter where millions actually go and see on TV.

In Ethiopia Muslims and Christians live and have celebrate together. My Muslim neighbours break my Christian fasting season with me, same way they invite us to eat for Eid. Don’t bring your religious division to Ethiopia.

Jesus was a prophet of god 🙏 and shouldn't be worshipped and those who believe that are misguided and that is the biggest sin in islam. Turn back back to the 1 true creator ALLAH and dont just follow an ideology your forefathers thought to be true. Muslim shouldnt attend nor celebrate hoildays with jews or Christian etc.
