Do not listen to people barking at you, in the US it is 100% legal to film on public property.

I could tell that staff member was obviously having a bad day. Thanks for clarifying the law!

Great video! That plane was retired three months ago. You got to fly on it the last year of its 29 year career. I'm flying on one next month and can't wait!

I am guessing row 30 and 31 are the rows of the MD-88 where you cannot see the engine

Delta has THE oldest planes in the industry. I am amazed they don’t fall apart during flight. They use the same MD-88s/MD-90s from PWM to ATL every day, with no retirement plans in sight.

Lots of machines from that era seem to be indestructible. There are videos all over youtube of people finding old cars and trucks from the 60's 70's 80' that havent run in decades and they fire right up. Same with these old planes. You take care of them right, they will fly for close to 50 years. There are actually planes of that age and OLDER that are still flying today. Quite amazing.

Love The Boeing 717, sad that delta airlines are not keeping them but its replacement is just as good the Airbus A220-100 aka bombardier cs300
