    Would be better if you have fix those bearings below the top cover, which will give you the opportunity to cut even very long wood sheets.

    Very cool but just wondering why you'd put the blade inline with the guide? If you had it at a 90 to the blade it could do rip cuts.

    5:20 maybe you use the wrong type of blades, there are upcut, downcut and trianglecut blades.
    look at your blade and buy one which has teeth which point in the opposite direction,
    this way the saw piece wont be lifted all the time

      This kind of video is very popular because average people just want something interesting, but for pros this contraption is nowhere near useful. If anyone cannot afford power tools and want cut something, just use hand tools.

    Just wanted to use that line. Good idea. I've been wandering about using a ball slide to make an inline sander and maybe use a 4 inch grinder with a gear reduction to get it down to maybe 3,000 strokes per minute. How well has your slide held up ? I'm guessing to mock one up and add weight rollers on it to simulate sanding and let it run and see how long it holds up.?!?. It was neat seeing someone use a ball slide for a similar application.
