    I’ve been telling my friends and family to get one of these while they’re around, because fantastic products like this sometimes change( not always for the best) or just disappear off the market. This machine is sturdy, well built, easy to use and results are always consistent.
    CJ, your recipes are on the money. I already used your videos for 3 meat dishes, and also used the darn thing to cook one of those frozen Hotpocket from the supermarket for my granddaughter. Keep em coming.

    Hello CJ, applesauce is a must with pork chops. I too grew up with applesauce served with pork chops. What really adds to the taste, add some fresh, coarse, ground pepper on top of the apple sauce. It is a game changer. Love your videos and greetings from North Michigan, USA.

    Very interesting on the temp CJ, maybe it’s a Canadian thing but my chart says medium for the chops should be 160 to 169 and for well done 170. Regardless they look perfect . Thanks

    • @CookingWithCJ
      @CookingWithCJ  Před 4 lety

      I hear you Rob, but pork has changed a bit. If you take it to 160+ it’ll be too done and too dried out. At least that is my opinion. The temps I use in the video are what I’m comfortable using.

  • @erikas4891
    @erikas4891 Před 4 lety

    Hi CJ, your pork chops look delicious. I just purchased my Foodi grill and tried the thin pork chops, no bones. They turned out burned on the high setting and 16 minutes suggested in the book. What temp and time would you recommend for thin chops?

    • @CookingWithCJ
      @CookingWithCJ  Před 4 lety +1

      Erika S thank you! I cook to internal temp of the meat. So with pork chops I’ll do 145-150 pull them and let them rest. Cook then for like 5 min, check the internal, repeat until it’s where you like them. I wouldn’t go off the times in the book. They have to over time so they’re not liable if it’s undercooked and someone gets sick. I just always cook to internal and give vague timing on my videos.
