    I've become a devotee of your videos; you're very knowledgeable, in my opinion, and I've been fishing for nearly 80 years. Here's a tip
    and a question: tip: a Berkeley Crappie Nibble added to your lure will increase your catch of trout, perch, kokanee, and of course, crappie;.
    question: what is the source of those excellent spinner blades used with the Wicked lures? Thanks.

    Hmmm ..... swear it was U who used a glass bead in front of rubber stop & Buzzbomb. Ohhh well just rigged one up that way. Perhaps it was Pixster who used the glass beads. Going to try my first Buzzbomb here in NE Tennessee soon :)

    Great stuff…already incorporated the mooching set up, but wish I hand that set up yesterday! Also, most people call me something other then genius so thanks for the nice words on rig 3. Question on the 3L version. Found about 10 lures yesterday on the low tide and a few were the 3L.
    Do they swim better than the 2.5” because of the width? I know it flutters more but if you just swimming it in, do you fell it is better, no dif or not as good? Last, so Hoochies are out on the Mooching set up? I don’t use em on mine, but I do add glow beads between the hooks.

    What kind of non buzz bomb set ups would you recommend for pinks🎣

      @HolyMolyOutdoors  Před 3 lety +1

      I have a couple videos for that coming as well. My favorite would be a wicked lure. Works great casted or trolled. Honestly keeping you in the strike zone longer for a fish to grab it

    I thought that they made a different angled bumper bead for the single hooks. Is it still ok to use the flat one on the single hook?

    • @HolyMolyOutdoors
      @HolyMolyOutdoors  Před rokem

      Yes they still do make the single hook bumpers. What I have been doing is applying a swivel to my siwash hook then using the regular rubber bumper and that has been working great as the top of the swivel and knot goes into the bumper and the hook fishes straight. Just a different way to skin a cat

    Is there a reason a lot of people don't throw buzz bombs once they get in the rivers?

    • @HolyMolyOutdoors
      @HolyMolyOutdoors  Před 3 lety

      Great question! They work well in the lower tidal areas of rivers but become difficult to properly fish higher up when the fish are more concentrated. A lot get foul hooked. Not saying you can't use them but they perform best in the salt and lower river areas

      @JoeTafoya69 Před 2 lety

      According to the 2022 e-regs
      Hook and Line Angling - Unless noted differently, only one line with up to 2 hooks is allowed.
      Barbless Hooks - are required for all species in Marine Areas 5-13, except forage fish jig gear. When fishing for salmon in Areas 1-13, single-point barbless hooks must be used.
