- Overall very impressed with 11.4.6 and 11.4.7 doesn't appear to have changed much that I see so far.
Good drive on Test Loop 1 but as you can see an old bug and some new ones.
The right turn onto Plum Canyon is working reliably well which is awesome.
I forgot this channel name and searched for "Plum Canyon Road FSD Beta" because that is the haunting thing of all videos. And CZcams didn't disappoint. Hope to see V12 commentary
Very good. Having a 2019 M3 w FSD being a beta tester I can say you interact much like me. Having to have back of the seat plane pilot skills you have to monitor it. FSD for me is very relaxing. It is important to report anomalies when they truly occur. Situational awareness is keen. There would be no accidents otherwise.
Welcome back James! I, too, have a "turn from hell". It's a T where the left turn crosses an oncoming lane into the desired lane. I find, as a person, it's a dangerous intersection as by the time you see an approaching car from the the you have scant time to check the right before the left car is on top of you and visa versa with traffic on the right. Due to people speeding and you're sitting at a stop sign. It is the ideal intersection for FSD as the car needs to simultaneously watch both directions but the car hesitates long enough where a car approaching from the right forces driver intervention after the car is accelerating. It could well be this intersection is poster child for moving the left/right B column cameras to the front bumper. Hopefully that description made sense. I don't recall a similar intersection in your videos where you're at an unprotected T and attempting to turn left. with limited visibility left or right...perhaps the route where you turn left onto o Plum Canyon Rd, although where that's multilane divided I suppose the car could reassess at the dividor.

James, so good to hear you talk about getting into left turn lanes. I would say 8 out of 10 times I take wife's car out of FSD when making left turns and report car to slow to get into left turn lane blocking cars behind. Also when in a wide right lane when you are going to make a right turn ahead the car doesn't get right soon enough and so cars will go around to make right turn. I take out of FSD for that also and report car needs to move right sooner so as not to be cut off. Someday they will get it.

Or be back to square two. Yes, Musk is touting 12, just as he touted 11, 10, 9, .... He's already, all but, implied HW3 doesn't have the umpf to do risk-free FSD and model 3s won't get upgraded to hw4 or two more side camera at the front bumper. B column cameras already have a condensation issue. Of course that implies you're not a Tesla software developer working on 12. RU?
It is all about how well a frame rate at 24 Hz at 5 M pixels are processed at vs 20 M pixels at 5 Hz. For example. Adding more cameras at a higher pixels along with frame rate requires higher processing power and energy. For now I will stick to machine code, and assembly language. ;-) @@waltcorey5115
