You absolutely crack me up, all of you. As a cook I cannot believe how you pulled that off but boy you did! It looks delicious. I have never seen pastry made like that and potatoes literally boiled in cream and milk then shoved into a dish. I was shocked you hadn't sealed the beef first and had used an expensive cut of meat. That would have been two meals in our household but to be fair I reckon you have another dinner in that pie anyway. Very well done really enjoyable to watch please make loads more cooking videos with the boys loved it and couldn't stop laughing. Really hungry now and I don't eat beef!!
Glad you liked Tina. I confess i was winging it a bit. As for the price of the meat, what's interesting is that that cut was the cheapest beef i could find in Morrisons at £4.99 a kg. Their stewing steak was actually more money. I guess it was on promo
I think Harry's name for the pie was the funniest yet... Cow Poo Pie ! Brilliant. Interesting way of cooking the potatoes, I must try that. The whole meal looked delicious. Only one thing wrong... I didn't get any :-(
Don't worry Harry potato skin is very nutritious, "Potato peel contains more iron than the flesh of the potatoes. They're also a good source of Fiber, vitamin B, and vitamin C" but it is still important to scrub the potatoes under clean water to remove bacteria.
I would of just cheated and bought the ready made pastry 😁 I'm certain your suppose to put salt in the potatoes when cooking🤔, you had no idea what the first horn in the pie resemble to me when it went on the pie!!!!! 🤣 next pie to do for meaty March should be, Cottage pie!!! and best of all, no making pastry. 😋👍
Flimsy cartons that's like those milk cartons that you have to hold firm when peeling the seal off the top and the contents goes everywhere, I have come to the conclusion that the producers do it on purpose so you buy so more milk from them, naughty people.
You wouldn't want to be invited to my Gran's (the one who thinks Venison is a vegetarian dish 🙄)... unless you REALLY like out date food 🤢🤮 or next door my aunt and uncles Kitchen unless you've had a Tetanus jab, feeling sick, or spend the day on the toilet.🤒🥴🧻🚽 glad I refuse to eat anything there.😐
