Actually, the original actress for lily was replaced or left because the twins who played lily were very difficult on set, so, on the third season they replaced the twins with the actress that we know now.

The writing is top notch. Almost every episode is so cleverly written, so funny. Ed O’Neil had always had my number lol He is so damn funny lol

The FaceTime episode was my fave. I like it how the grandpa answer and he thinks it’s a phone call but it was FaceTime XD and brings the phone up to his ear

I didn't grow up a healthy household, watching Modern Family really feels like I'm a part of the family. Been watching since I'm in college back in 2014 till this day and never gotten bored. The rewatchability is insane.
omg , my heart goes out to you. I too am connected to them since i feel i finally have a loving family . I wish that you find a beautiful family soon.
Another fun fact is that in Season 1, Phil trips on a step and just improvised the line " I need to fix that step". As you can see in later seasons, this becomes a running joke.
Also, There was never a specific step that was the "Broken Step", It changes throughout the series.
I also liked how Sarah Hyland posted a photo with her dad, her fiancés dad, and Ty Burrell and captioned it “my 3 dads” I died from teara

He says he didn’t actually know it was Alexandra I think meaning when he said it before it was a joke

Dwayne Bailey couldn't be Andy Bailey's dad, a recurring plotline of Andy is that he had to be the "the man of the house" at a young age due to his dad dying or cancer.
I think Andy’s last name is Bailey because of the connection lost episode and they always knew there was going to be a plot between them....mainly because it was going to be Haley Bailey
Andy should have been Haley’s main romance instead of Dylan tbh

Another good spin off other than Haley and Dylan would be Mitch and Cam with the kids back in Cam's hometown.
I'd love to see spin offs with every family part tbh. :D One example would be Gloria and Manny when they used to live in Colombia. Or Claire and Mitchell in childhood with Jay and DeDe.
Such a pity all of them are not aging backwards (except of gloria)

Spent literally half my life watching this show. The best thing about it was that I was able to watch with my grandparents, my mother, my friends at sleepovers, then later on my friends when we came home from parties... It really is for the whole family and everyone can enjoy every bit of it. I hope I can watch it with my kids one day, show them them show like my mom showed me Married with Children, which she used to watch with her father.

In season 1 ep 3, manny actually said he was 10 and 3 quarter years old when claire said he was 10 so i assumed he said he was 11 because he wanted to seen as grown
Makes sense about the adoption process from cam and Mitch. There’s an episode when Mitch tells cam that he didn’t submit the forms with his name. So legally it would appear only 1 person adopted Lilly. He changed it afterwards.

Ive watched every single episode at least three times. I literally sob every time I watch the last episode! I legit felt like the dunphys/pritchetts were my friends.
I have cried multiple times during the whole 11 seasons, and I am not complaining. Worth it!
I guess Sarah Hyland wasn't too impressed with Haley's writing for the last season. I doubt we'll see Haley again for awhile.

I love every single thing about this show and its cast... they love each other so much and really are a family... I tear up just thinking about it
No hesitations and doubts, I could say that "Modern Family" is the best American tv show I've seen..

Here i am, just rewatched 10 seasons, spent my second last day of holidays getting a vpn to watch season 11 - that failed, and spent my last day of holidays watching all the BTS. Im so excited to watch anything related to the show and ive been putting off my homework

In the final there was a little filming error lol, on the stairs in part two when manny and lily are talking about her crying she appears on his right. However 10 seconds later in a different shot they are switched around and then they are switches again in another shot.
Also, I'm pretty sure Hayley was 15 in the first season, or at least the first episode, but Phil and Claire have been married 16 years. That doesn't work because they got married right as they had Hayley. Maybe Hayley is really 16, or maybe Phil and Claire have been married 15 years and did in fact marry in 1994.
