Pretty much the best tutorial I can find. Not only for Freeman’s voice but for any voice. You explain everything so much better than others. Helps a lot
Cleavland is way higher pitched and nasally than Freeman, also cleavlands voice is upper throat and freeman's uses chest and lower throat. The closest thing i can honestly think of voice acting wise that is close to morgan freeman is Snake from mgs. Same raspy type of voice, just with a bit more cut and slightly higher pitch.
wow daniel, really good tutorial here, I like the way you separated it into sections, I feel like my impressions way better already! trying to do one for my next video, and want it to sound half decent! 😅
A beginner here, but element #5 - try to correctly pronounce the consonants and the end of words (even though Mississippi accents will still omit the ending R's) Craig Ferguson asked how he "learned to talk like that" and Freeman told that he was taught this in college and that it is very important to him Element #6 - he slows down the cadence to emphasize certain words he wants to
You are incorrect. As a vocal coach, I can tell you that a lot of these things can actually SAVE your voice. Vocal Frys are a very natural way to warm up your vocal cords. When you sing, you're actually supposed to start every phrase with a slight fry to ease into a note/chords rather than sharply punching the note. The other things he is recommending are nasal resonate techniques which are a great way to control higher notes without shredding your vocal cords. Those techniques are healthy for your voice as well. I could go on, but I won't. I mainly dropped in to say that you are incorrect in your statement. These are all proper techniques for singers and voice actors - they end up saving your voice.
Rest of the people at 3 a.m: "studying to become doctors and lawyers"

Don't make up stuff.
That was fucking terrible.
First you should learn to do the impression yourself, then make a video about it.
Ur not good at it
