it was missing on YT-wasn´t it??... to me the "cheepnis"-version on "you can´t do this on stage anymore vol.2-the helsinki concert " is absolut better band-teamwork, but anyway from this "mothers" episode anything is fantstic!! did you heard the "cheepnis-percussion" upload i made???
***** this is the original in the sense that there's no overdubs- although this was only recently released. it's the live version from the roxy theatre in '73. the original version has a huge amount of studio overdubs & is featured on the album "roxy & elsewhere", from '74. (it was a live take with lots added to it, like a movie has post-production : ) both are interesting & fun, and the R&E version is a testament to Zappa's ability to layer & sculpt a truly alien band based off of the live recording & numerous highly- obsessive compositional choices :D

Is this the original original version. I've heard there's a big difference in record/cd mixes.
