Unfortunately he still think of the physicality of theology and not Spirituality teachings of Jesus, everything the Bible teaches is Spirit, each person is a church, our bodies are made for God's Holy Spirit and Jesus even said those who are lead by the Spirit are like the wind guided by God. @@THEMASKEDMASTER the flaws is the contradictions but the faith came before the book but the message is changed. Yes you can go back in comparison from the Old Testament vs the new Testament and the covenant of Jesus. I'm not even religious but I've been looking at both more these recent months. The Quran is based on rules and the faith stems from that. I've learned a number of things from Islam that Muslim deny and I've even challenged some. Christianity I knew about but I've graps more understanding of it. I've too read the new testament just out of curiosity and found contradictions but my conclusion is that it was a good read and does not teach you to go forth and sin and do bad and the message have still been the same. That's my take anyway. I'm not no professional I'm just basic but learning.

Love Bobs work, but I think when dealing with atheists and the concepts of independent language that genetics is a stronger argument than mathematics. The reason is that mathematics can be simply described as pattern recognition. Genetics is clearly a complex set of instructions that act independently of human minds.

Paul is one of the greatest and best examples that supports Jesus. A man persecuting Christians, seeing them jailed and k*lled to then go blind on the road to Damascus due to Jesus showing Himself and asking Paul "Why do you persecute Me so?" has a complete 180 and becomes the second most important person in Christianity that was responsible to spreading the Gospel to the gentiles.
It's interesting how any and all reasons aside from what seems to be the most plausible answer is intentionally avoided to get away from the answer the atheist here doesn't want to get to.

To issue a challenge regarding the notion that "(God) the just judge, judges you by things that you do know, not by things you don't know" as it relates to the final judgement of people who have not been exposed to the Gospels due to, say, geographical limitations:
As a matter of fact, a judge in our world would apply the principle "ignorance of the law does not excuse the unlawful actions" and would punish the person who unknowingly breaks the law just like he would punish a person who knowingly breaks the law.

No it’s more that god won’t hold you to the same standard as someone who knows it’s wrong. Everyone knows murder is wrong, rape is wrong, stealing is wrong, ect.
God will judge people for sinning willingly and happily but god won’t judge for you honestly not knowing something . A judge on earth cannot know whether or not you honestly didn’t know that being greedy was wrong but god does and will judge based off that. God knows everything a human judge does not

He lost me when he said that mathematics was a language, because mathematics is an universal constant, it is not like a e i o u which evolved trough our biological limitation to express ourself. Physics and mathematics are already there in contrast with orthography.
We didn’t invent mathematics. We find it effecting the universe and we learn it then write it in our own language. All recorded Maths can be deleted for 1000 years and yet someone on the other side of the universe can learn it again. It’s a language seperate to us and is written in the foundations of the universe

He is saying that Atheists believe that human life is just atoms/ matter/ energy; which are ALL non-living things. Thus they believe that human LIFE came from non-life! I.E something coming from nothing.

When you read the teachings of Christ, He will make thing's clear for you.. if you pray to Christ, you will start to understand the teachings even further, prayer leads you to the path of truth and recognition of God's existence within Christ. It takes some time especially if there's already belief barriers, but chipping away will get you through the wall, and break out of the perimeter of doubt, it'll carve out itself. Patience and commitment brothers and sisters.
People will not be judged for not believing in Jesus and the Gospel, but for breaking the law (Romans 2:12-15, Revelation 20:13). And Jesus will deliver those who believe in Him from judgment.
As for mathematics, I would simply say that science describes the laws of nature, but does not talk about their origin.

When he said as an atheist you can have subjective meaning, he is mistaken, he meant you can get the feeling of meaning. I mean this in a definitional sense. It's like if someone offered you that your crush falls in love with you, but by forced means, would you want that? I'm sure your answer would be no. In the same way, a facsimile of meaning is useless, it's the malaise of the 21st century in fact, that very dissonance, and people are realising it.

I love Bob, understand Christianity built the west and can see the benefits of living life as a Christian. I wish I could believe, but this is Bobs only weak argument in my opinion and it just so happens to be the core of the belief system 😢.
The argument is the resurrection is real, because there is testimony from those around Jesus that attest to it, and they changed their society because of it, why would they do that if it’s not true??
The problem is there is an Indian Guru named Sathya Sai Baba, that is claimed by millions to have “performed miracles, including resurrections! Literally thousands of people in the 21st century will claim to have seen the miracles first hand. Not a chance I believe that and I doubt you do either, so why suspend the disbelief for a similar claim 2000 ago.
Robert Kennedy on JRE described how in his 20’s he started living his life “as if” god was real even though he didn’t truly believe and it changed his life forever. I’m super tempted to do the same however feel it’s sort of disrespectful
I will say that the difference is that Jesus died and rose again, not just resurrecting other people. Even people who disliked him admitted to his performance of miracles, but they demonized him for it.
Dont just dismiss it. That is the supernatural. Try and look into it more.

Wouldn’t you say that a human that can resurrect another human would have to be either God or acting on behalf of God?
If you accept that, then it’s just a matter of the evidence and if the whole belief structure relies on the fact that we have 5 historical documents from 2000 years ago attesting to Jesus’s resurrection, I’d say factually the scale of eye witness testimony for Sathya Sai Baba’s miracles is much stronger.

1 there is record about Roman solders guard the tomb 2 there was a big stone outside the tomb. Hard to roll without enough man power. A lot of man moving a big stone will be seen by someone. 3 If they can find the body, or the eyewitness of them moving the stone awsy, won't the Jews and Romans use it to put off the fake news about Jesus's resurrection? 4 Will you willing to die to spread a lie that someone died and come back to life again? 11 out of the 12 apostles died a tragic death no financial gains. What is the drive for these 11 people? Are there anything similar throughout the human history?
