So you have your regular anime style, your regular chibi style, and your glossy chibi style. Have you ever done a glossy regular anime style that looks simpler?
tysm!!! Ive "bean" struggling to draw chibis for so long! This helped my understanding of chibi anatomy a lot!!! Btw the legs of your glossy style reminds me of Yashiro's "daikon" legs! xDDD
All jokes aside, this video actually had some solid advice! I've been looking for a good tutorial for literally 2 days straight and then I found this! Thank you so much for saving my sister's birthday card XD
Interesting this video ! My weakness for drawing chibis is hands ! 😔 In any case , your tutorial helped me a lot to improve my drawing difficulties ! 😘👍
Hello, this is my 3rd time watching this video. I remember the first time, when I was a beginner, I searched up "How to draw chibi characters". I found this video, it was 2021. Your video helped me so much! This gave me the better understanding how chibi works, chibi styles, etc. Thank you, thank you for sharing! Your video have became a part of my process :D.
I've seen you talk about the bean form before and it made drawing chibi's so much more fun. Now my next problem is to just.. finish the drawings hahaha
I am absolutely inlove with ur style, i took a 1yr break from art because I never got inspired, now I am motivated to try drawing again! Thanks for the video🤩
MUITO OBRIGADA!!!!! Tava precisando de um tutorial desse tipo, e não tinha nenhum em português que fosse tão bom, e o seu tem legendas em português!! MUITO OBRIGADA MESMO!!!
You are an amazing artist, the way you keep us understanding the art. Not just understand how to draw, but also understand how to "learn your own drawing" > learn how to learn. Thank you! ^^
I think my style of drawing chibis is a mix between your regular style and your glossy style XD btw this tutorial is very helpful, it truly helped me at my chibi anatomy ;A;
Cute and informative. I still draw and doodle traditionally, usually on plain old printer paper because it's cheap. For those who don't have a tablet or computer to use, but still wish to experiment with size and proportions easily, simply draw your head in two sizes on a page, then draw three bodies in various sizes/styles on another page. Then you can hold those two pages up to the light and slide the bodies around under your heads until you find the body that you like best with whichever head. It can save a little paper and a lot of cumbersome erasing. Again, cute video, and I appreciate the "there is no wrong style" part. Go with what you like.
this is cute! something i want to add is that chibi dont realy have "right" anatomy, its all bout them being small and cute, so new artist dont realy need to stress about proportion on chibis since they can be shaped anyhow as long as they small cuz this is their point lol. tradinitional art hasn eareser so its not that hard to redo the sketch
Hello! I just wanted to say that I followed your tutorial and it went really well ^^ I have struggled a lot when it came to drawing chibi bodies and the bean trick really helped :3
I went from dreading chibis to not struggling anymore after learning from your video. Now I look forward to experimenting instead of when I struggled so hard on drawing the body I gave up (the beans are a LIFESAVER). I can't thank you enough
oh my its so helpful, finally i get out from my own stress! 😭💗 I've been struggling to draw chibi and after watching this i can finally understand some points and my result went perfect!!! thankyou so much ❤❤❤
Ahhh Rina! Thank you so much for uploading this! I've been struggling with my chibi style lately and this was just the video I needed. The bean technique sounds really helpful and I can't wait to try it!
Yes I’m learning to draw and watching / looking at so many art styles that i am willing to let my hand decide if it can create art they way it is portrayed in my head.

You just may not realize how you have just helped me unlock a part of my brain that could NOT draw chibis even though I draw regular style easily. MY chibis would look like small dwarfs or children but NOWWWWW!!! I am so excited between you and another video you have helped tremendously! Thank you so much!!!!
I loved this tutorial, it taught me too much and it came just when I wanted to learn to draw Chinese, and the fact that it was subtitled in Spanish; *; it was a total help, thanks for the tutorial ❤️🐤
i love tutorials and little chibi characters, i wanted to build my own character but i was struggling body shape and face design, TYVM for helping me out there, and the best part of the video is the BEAN part it helped me a lot.

I love how you never say "this is the right way to do it" but instead "this is a good guideline", I think that would have helped me immensely years ago when starting out xD
Thank you so much for this tutorial! It really helped me, XD I’ve been doing the face normally so it looks like a normal face plastered onto a chibi body-no wonder why they seemed so off. . .
Thanks for the tutorial, maybe it's not too late to learn something new that may I like. Big thanks from us, the beginners around the world who still need confidence to draw a single simple line...

In a way, chibis are a good introduction to learning body types and clothing because they focus more on shapes than details
I'M NOT THE ONLY ONE WHO FIGURED OUT THE BEAN TRICK! XD
So you have your regular anime style, your regular chibi style, and your glossy chibi style. Have you ever done a glossy regular anime style that looks simpler?
I don't think so 😂💞
No, honestly that idea have never crossed my mind, I'm not sure how well it would go 😂
This is like a year late, but the anime 'Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt' is done in a style pretty close to what you're describing.
