Absolutely. I didn't like the way she was marketed for the tomboys at the time. She's always been a pretty woman, very classy and feminine especially in high heels, not trainers.
She's the best singer out of all 5.
They are all aware of that but she actually always points out how she wouldn’t got where she is without the others.

Your beautiful Mel like your mum, she was such a lovely young singer when we were young friends, when we grew up in Liverpool. She had great style, her aunt made wonderful stage dresses for her. Love from Perth Australia.
Wow. Nice to know that. Reading her memoir led me to a youtube video where her mum was singing in the 70s alongside her other bandmates. I agree she was so beautiful and a very good singer too.
