  • NASA has developed and launched a new telescope, known as the James Webb Space Telescope which will be able to see the universe back to 13.8 Billion Years. It's the world's biggest and the most powerful telescope now. But how does it work? Is this a live example of Time Travelling? I talk about all these things in this video and also compare it to the Hubble Space Telescope by NASA, which was to date the most powerful telescope in the world.

    You earned my respect. James Webb Telescope's coverage was not covered by Indian media. JWST's ability to see the Universe's origin is a very big achievement. The engineering involved is mind blowing. Very clearly explained. As an engineer and deep interest in Universe the technicality involved in explaining is a tough task.
    Great job Dhruv

    One More Interesting Fact: The camera on this telescope is so powerful that it can actually see a bumble bee like tiny thing on the moon in FHD clarity.
    I am an astrophysics enthusiast and have been observing James Webb from past 2 months with each and every details. I must say that you have created a wonderful video and with all the correct details.
    Though I want to add few more things such as the Webb will mainly look for Exo Planets with the possibility of life in it and also if organisms or any sort of aliens are present or any ancient civilisation which used to exist. Also the chief engineer has said that it ll also observe planets and moons in our solar system to look for precious metals and various other things. It has the potential to create 3D model of the visible universe.
    It will take another 5 months for Webb to fully function, so you can expect from 15th May'22 onwards seeing the first picture clicked by it.
    Good job!

      @Content_Creator10 Před 2 lety +411

      @Ninja Eyes Aliens means not Jadoo you fool! Lol. Any microscopic organism is also an alien life. There's a very little chance that in the universe a fully intelligent life is still existing. Its almost impossible. If they had been then they are long dead. So the only chance we have is to find any singular cell or multi cell organisms are still there in the universe or not.

    • @Content_Creator10
      @Content_Creator10 Před 2 lety +127

      @@hassobhai8665 Yes! Absolutely. Whatever we will see it will be in the past. I never said real time alien life is what it will show us. We will see their past and can calculate how much they must have been evolved by now. It will be very ultra rare to find an intelligent life in the universe, there are very less possibility, if there s an intelligent life out there like us then they must be 100 times better than us because if we see them then it will be in the past and then we can calculate how much they must have evolved by now. So mainly this telescope will be looking for the single or multi cellular organisms presence and then calculating the time.

      No there isn't any time travel. You are not able to see the present as you see further and further into space. So if you are seeing an object 5 billion light years away, you will have to wait 5 billion years to see the present condition of the object. To take the example of our sun, if you look up to see the sun, you are looking at the Sun as it was 8 minutes ago, not as it is right now.

      Idiotical logic of time travel
      If suppose
      1 st jan 2022 you see a star which is billion years away and you reach it through time travel, the moment you reach there in a day for ex it doesn't mean on earth you will see billion years before😁here on earth it will be 2 nd jan 2022, form there if you try to see earth it will be 2nd jan not previous or after.

      For instance a tortoise in a running race starts at a particular time and a rabbit too starts with it. Tortoise will take an hour and rabbit will finish quick, it doesn't mean rabbit will see what occured before race😷.
      The same way whatever the time you start and travel however speed but you will not see anything prior or after to that time.

    Everyday time travel is like looking a star is looking in past.
    When we look at a star, we are not looking at the physical thing, but, are instead looking at the light it emitted. (Actually all “seeing” works this way.) It takes time for light to travel, so, by the time we see the light several years might have passed since the time when it first left the star. In other words, we are “seeing” the star as it was then-not now.

    There are no monitoring cameras on the telescope. Instead, engineers depend on switches, sensors and motors to track its health during deployment. NASA ditched the idea of including surveillance cameras on Webb because of technical complexities and risk,
    According to the agency, a camera located onto the telescope would not have been of much help because both sides of the telescope have bad conditions for taking photographs
