Dependable Lawn Care - Unboxing, assembly, and installation of the 4 position trimmer rack by Green Touch, from TrailerRacks.com Created with Wondershare Filmora
I think the Echo Throttle Handles are longer. Going farther down the Shaft making the Shaft Bracket Farther From The Head. That added distance makes the Trimmer Head go Farther Out. This Makes the Support Arms Now Too Short ... like you show here - the Head Rest Support Bracket is at The End of the Support Arm. My Support Bracket is at the End of the Support Arm and is two inches shy of even Reaching The Trimmer Head. I'll call GreenTouch Monday. Hoping they have some Longer Support Arms.
Mostly 8' The important thing is to catch several wall studs and have the 1x4 to mount to where you need it. You could go with 10' and have mounting boards all the way down.
Going to try your 1x4 mod also. I have a lightweight 6ft trailer also, and that’s the way to go. What were the tools you used? Thank you for the video!
Looks great! you will enjoy them!
100% agree with using the 1x4.
thanks for sharing sir!!
Thanks for watching 😊
Thanks for the info!

36.75 inch came from where though?
From the center of the bolt on the first side to the center of the bolt on the second side, top and bottom.
nice my friend i see you videos and pictures on imstagram and now im lloking for idea i need instal my racks on my new enclosed trailer!!!!!
What size screws (length) did you use on the wood screws and the self drilling screws on the brackets?
1" directly to the wall and 1 1/2" through the 1x4's
I can't get the stick edger to fit because of the bend in the shaft
You might need to put a board behind the mounts to give you more clearance.
How long were your 1x4’s? My enclosed trailer is 6x10 and will have to do the same thing you did with it

HandyGuy 2016 awesome and thank you for the reply! You said you used 1.5 inch wood screws to tie down to the 1x4 to the studs correct?
@@chuyroman2046 they will be metal tube studs, so use a self drilling 1.5" wood to metal screw.
👍
Anyone know how much weight it adds to each piece of equipment?
Very little, I didn't notice any difference.
Are you a fire fighter? I see the truck in the back ground at 33:38
Yes I am, that is my other full-time job.
That is awesom that you do that!
This is agony watching this video. Edit it and couldn't wait until the end
