    Ian, hello from Canada! Mostly inspired by It's Bandit O'Clock and your review of the abba Sky Lift I have decided to buy one for my own Bandit to replace my big, heavy bike lift. I have limited experience with it so far but I think it's awesome! Thanks for your awesome review and for all you do.

    Hi Ian. Great review much appreciated. I have been doing a bit of reading up on the abba skylift and have to say this is by far the best review of it.
    Have to wait to the end of the month for pay day then I think I'll get one.
    Thank again Ryan

    Just got mine. Used it to change my rear shock. It worked well. Part of the reason I got one too was this review.

      Thanks Tommo, I do miss having a 'proper' ramp but I don't miss walking into it and stubbing my toes

    Hello from Alberta Canada. I have a small garage and at first i was looking at a traditional table. Then i found the Big blue lift and the Abba Skylift. Now it's down to two. Abba has three positions, and works off of the frame. BigB Blue works off of the foot pegs (for my 2018 RT). Either one is good in my view. Now which one? Will the wife notice if a few dollars are out of the account?? lol

    I have one of these lifts, in my opinion it's better than the traditional bench, for all the reasons you speak of. Nice review mate

      Cheers Adam, I think you are right it’s works for me much better than a bench, but if I had the space I think I would try and have both

      Cheers Tommy, I know what you mean about the ramp taking up too much room I had 2 in the garage at one point but I had to get rid of them.

    I'd like one tho would probably only ever use the straight position and don't like relying on a strap.
    Other than that they look great and I'm gonna go look at buying one.
    Cheers RR

      Hey RR, to have it in the straight position you need to use the strap but in the two years I’ve had it I’ve never had any issues, I’ve even had bikes on it weeks at a time. If you get one let me know how you get on with it. Ian

      @@Classicmotorbikes contemplating it Ian but not sure if I can justify £450 only to be used every now and then. I need more bikes first hee hee 🙊

    Can you flip the bike around so that the right side of the bike is on the side of the foot pump?

    • @Classicmotorbikes
      @Classicmotorbikes  Před 4 lety +2

      Hey Sick CowPie, yes you can have it facing either way, I just normally put the exhaust side out 👍

    Cant see it lifting my pan european up.

    • @Classicmotorbikes
      @Classicmotorbikes  Před 5 lety +1

      I would say it could, I’ve sat on my bandit 1200 while on the lift and that would be about the same combined weight as Pan euro, I wonder if they do a fitting kit for it? 🤔
