I finally got it to make some noise! This is the first start and run of the Suzuki Gs1000. It is old and it doesn't want to play nice. But I am glad to hear the engine run., The Engine still needs a lot of work. But this gives me hope. I know it will for you too! Stay fly! See you tomorrow!!!!

Man I have been watching dalton since around 100k subs and still haven't been disappointed. I could care less what he works on as long as he keeps doing what he is doing.

after waiting all day here to work on my gs I have that running on all four cyl, from what I've read keep the standard air filter assembly on it helps a lot in the smoothness of the running, thats what I'm doing tomorrow putting that pain in the arse box back on. i prefer the bikes followed by the duramax then the bmw

When you put the air filter back on that will help with the tuning, found that out with my 84 Kawasaki 650, ran like absolute crap until I put the intake boots back on

Gerjo Scholte no because the gs1000 is totaled so it will take to much work to fix everything wrong with it. He can ride the Yamaha now.

Irn-Bru is good stuff. You lucky.
Soak the carburetors in Berryman Chem-Dip carburetor & parts cleaner. Cleans them inside and out with out Agitation. I have been using this stuff for years for cleaning carburetors on everything from motorcycles to vw bugs. I find it at the good old Walmart. This will for sure get the GS carburetors clean. Hope this helps can't wait to see that engine in the gator.
Hey Dalton, a lil bit of lacquer thinner on a micro fiber cloth can remove those paint marks on your duramax. Just dab a lil bit of lacquer gunner on the towel and lightly rub the towel on the paint scuffs

Dalton it's very important to remove anything rubber on the carbs when you run them through an ultrasonic cleaner... I've learned from experience lol

I love to fix plugged up carbs. I use ONLY a caustic degreaser and hot water rinse. Air blow dry. #1, everything else #3.

That leak is probably the carb T connector for the fuel pipe, it looked pretty lose, good to get some new o rings on the carb connectors or get a replacement (I think that the middle T piece is all one piece, at least it is on my gs1000g).
