the old shed was a lifeboat launch, round by the netwalk theres the remains of an old victorian outdoors swimming baths hidden on the beach, the quay has been there from the mid 16 century, sloane was the founder of the british museum donating his collection of preserved insects after his death, the little graveyard is called killowen, it was plunderd by raiders (maybe viking) and in later times had a pit for the very bad chlorea outbreak in the 1840s at which point the poor of the town where helped by the lady dufferin and thats where the poem the lament of the irish pesant was inspired from, there used to be a monument for her but it was taken down and sadly skipped, hinks was responsible for decoding hyroglifics in egypt and is consider one of the formost of his time in the field, i could go on forever about my town
