Liked it better in its more organic form without all the stuck on bits and baubles, I think they detract from the simple aesthetic of the flowers. Thanking you so much for sharing. You are very talented. I know teaching is a very demanding job. You are incredible!
The art is beautiful, thank you for showing us step by step and what you thoughts are as you are working. Im 67 and I wish I would of seen your talents way back when I got discouraged and gave up on it. Maybe I will be the next Maman Moses, lol. That’s if I can ever make a room for painting somehow with lots of light.
Hi AB, another incredible, beautiful piece by you. What gorgeous colours. I love the end result - which looks like the flowers are enamel. My friend works in a school, and she always tells me about how hard teachers work, and it doesn't finish when you go home either, because you have marking etc to do. You have a lovely personality - perfect for being a teacher. Your pupils are very lucky. Please don't ever worry about replying, I know how busy you are. First time visitor to your channel. Glad I stumbled across it. You did have me laughing at the start though. You were talking about not often using those colour choices- creams, browns, caramels and a light pink. As you were talking you were waving your hands around over the blank canvas. All I could SEE was creams, browns, caramels and the pale pink on your fingernails! You thought these weren't your favourite hues and yet you were wearing them all along! AB MY GOODNESS. THIS IS GORGEOUS!!! It’s the perfect balance of soft and the drips are dark and edgy. It’s both mat and shiny with that perfect accent balance that draws your eye around to each flower and then out to the background and back to the flowers. I love it! I love it I love it I LOVE IT!
I would love to see a 3d goddess on an extra long canvas so the hair can flow extra long. Scott Sava did an avant-garde hair journal sketchbook a few months back. It has some absolutely lovely compositions and every single page provides inspiration. I would love to see how you could take you goddess series + his hair journal + your 3d textures.
