today we are making 2 types of simple Payasam.. Panchaara Payasam made with Milk, Rice and Sugar.. and Chakkara Payasam made with Jaggery Rice and coconut.. Just try and enjoy..!!
Ingredients for Panchara Payasam
Raw rice - 200gm (1 Cup)
Sugar - 300 gm ( 1 1/2 Cup)
Water - 500ml
Milk - 2000 Ml
Ingredients for Chakkara Payasam
Raw Rice ( Brown) - 200gm
Jaggery - 400gm
Water - 1 Cup (to melt Jaggery)
Coconut - 1 Cup (grated)
Water to mix coconut - 1/2 Cup
Cardamom - 10 nos
Ghee - 2 tbsp.

yes. you can use.. I used white rice for a perfect white color only..

Whenever i make payasam the rice doesn't observe milk and separates it.. sometimes it get curdled what's the mistake? Can you make video to avoid mistakes in payasam?

do not use cow milk for Jaggery Payasam. It may get curdled.. for Jaggery Payasam, use coconut milk. while using Sugar you can use cow milk at room temperature.. this may be the mistake..
