- In this video, I mainly focused on the things the university needs to improve, so soon I will do a video with the best things it has to offer! I absolutely love the university and I made the right choice coming here. REMEMBER this is only my perspective and a lot of people might have a different opinion! All opinions all valid, all experiences are different.

Thank you!!
I love you content my dear, thanks for sharing this wonderful university experience video with us. Wish you the best!!!
Thank you so much! All the best and please stay safe â€ïž
Adorei o vĂdeo! Super Ăștil! Youâre amazinggâșïžđ
Obrigada!! Fico mesmo feliz đ„ș
Thanks for detailed review!!
You are welcome!
Omg this video was bomb! I am an EU student too and at Leeds Uni now, but everything you said is so true! I feel like whenever I come across a video titled âspilling the tea about my uniâ itâs usually praising the uni but here you mentioned all the important points. I also feel like (sorry if someone disagrees) but education in EU at high school might be on a higher level than the UK and so we typically have more expectations which sometimes arenât met. Also we pay 9k, UK students are used to this fact but most unis in the EU are a lot cheaper thatâs why we want a top class experience
Facts!!!
thank you celina you are an amazing woman
vraiment tg mec
Thank you!
Love your channel:) Iâm hoping to start Manchester uni in sept :) how did you grow your channel so well!
Thank you so much! đ„ł
Hopefully you will come!
My channel has been growing since I started which is amazing! But it has been growing more recently âșïž I believe itâs all about commitment and consistency
I'm waiting to firm, not sure yet (also sept 2020)!
IM PAYING 30K A YEAR BABE
International fees are WAY too expensive đ I feel for you
Hey, I just got an offer from manchester for business economics. Which accommodation would you prefer? And how did you cope up with the anxiety of living far from home?
do you do a lot of presentations for the class? if yes, then is there any possibilities to do them other ways, for example if a student has bad anxiety and can't do presentations in front of the whole class..?
can you please make a video about accommodation, the halls and the campus ?? I like fallowfield but I've also heard people party too much there
I definitely want to do that! I had planned that video a while ago but with the coronavirus everything changed. I will do my best to deliver that content. Fallowfield is mostly British students, they do party a lot but depends on which hall you are in. Ashburne, Sheavyn or Richmond I know are quite halls
What about Unsworth park? Is it quite?
Olivia McArdle Longo I havenât been there. I donât know if itâs quite or not but I know itâs really good
I spent my first year at whitworth park and I wouldnât recommend it as I struggled to make friends there
@@Celinassousa Hi, In due course of time, did you get any recent update about Unsworth Park ? Howz life over there and is it far from Uni ? Being far, is unsworth is quite ? Do you have an idea about Denmark & weston hall which I applied in Uni Accommodation for Sep 2021.
I have a question. How much are you paying for being there? Do you get any external economic support or something?
I want to study in Manchester, but I don't know if I can pay for it.
I'm looking for scholarships and talking to the UK council, but what can you tell me about?
What societies do you recommend joining? Or which one di you join?
Very helpful vid! xx
Hi!! I joined Manchester Entrepreneurs, which I recommend 100%. I joined MULS, the new committee for next years IS AMAZING. MULS is the law society but itâs non only for law students! Anyone can join. You learn so much about the business world as well. Those are the societies that I am active in. I also recommend the debate society, I have heard is really good. Then you have societies for each nationality which provides you with an amazing support group that reminds you of home. The sports community is also amazing if you are into sports
I can relate to a lot of stuff ahahah Eu fui de Lisboa para Leeds (e agora de volta a Lisboa obviamente ahaha)
Como foi Leeds? đ„°
Celina Sousa foi o melhor que me podia ter acontecido!
Love this! I have an offer from Manchester and itâs my top choice at the moment, your video was really useful!
This is a strange question I know but is the weather in Manchester a big downer? Iâve heard itâs REALLY rainy?đ
Thank you! Congratulations on your offer đ€©
Ahaha as someone not from the U.K., I am really upset about the weather. In Portugal itâs 90% sunny. The sky is almost always grey but it doesnât rain THAT much! I do think people exaggerate đ
For someone who lives pretty local and is also planning to go to Manchester for uni in September, it's pretty rainy but you get that all around the UK - it's typical British weather. However, there is some GREAT days of weather in the year so its not all bad.
hi i live in manchester and im planning to go there in the future, the weather can be really bad but overall its not terrible and its only very rainy in winter :) good luck with everything!!
Let me advise you as a Mancunian
. Statistically rainfall is average for the UK, so that stereotype of the city is BS. The issue is more overcast days than average, especially in North Manchester. Really, the weather is seasonal.
Hey great video!! Im thinking about applying to Manchester Uni for 2021, is there like a vegan society there? Because I'd love to meet more people i can relate too
Hello Josh! I am glad you have enjoyed this video. I know we have like 400 societies so itâs very likely that we do have it. Just check our student unionâs page, they tell you all the societies we have! Maybe you will find more societies that interest you đ
Do you sometimes have difficulty with English? Like in lectures or with friends? I want to go to university in England but Iâm afraid I wonât be able to study well in a language different from mine
Hello! I had the exact same concern before coming and the answer is no! Itâs so fine. Everyone has a different accent but I understand 99% of what they say. Certain books I have to read are more complicated to read, especially if they are old English, but not a problem that a dictionary canât solve! You get used to it and you develop even more your vocabulary. If you are still struggling, the university offers support to international students that struggle with the university level of English đ
Hey I'll be starting my LLB this year can you please make a video about career opportunities and maybe a tour of the law school and law societies would be great!
Hello!! Actually this was a video I had planned to do in April/May but with the coronavirus situation the university closed and I had to come back home. So I wonât be able to do this video probably until September đ I am sorry! But if you have any questions you can message me on Instagram and I will gladly answer them âșïž
How is the city? I mean is it beautiful or meh?..I've already applied for UoM but I'm kinda scared that I wont like the city aesthetically
Itâs definitely beautiful!! The architecture is the best part
Ey mate, Can i contact you personally please ? actually I'm from India willing to study in the Manchester University so i wanna know some related stuff
Hey glad to know you are doing LLB with Politics. I am an LL.M. from the University of Manchester School of LAW class of 2012. Have you come across Dr. Gary Lynch Wood, he was my professor for corporate governance. As for your doubts on writing essay without lecture notes, my advice would be get the title of the essay and work on Google Scholar thats my professor advised me at Manchester, Stay Safe....
Wow! Congratulations, thatâs impressive. I havenât met him yet! But the staff is amazing. Thank you for the advice, I really appreciate it
@@Celinassousa You're welcome and all the best for your studies.
Do you think I could still get into University of Manchester if my Year 11 results don't meet the minimum requirements but my Year 12 ones do?
Hello! I am not sure. The best people to answer this are the admissions office. They will be able to give you accurate advice
Yeah bro
Trying to decide between Manchester and Nottingham for Management. Suggestions?
Manchester!! Business school is incredible. The best school in Manchester
Hey celina please help i got into uni of manchester and uni of leeds which one should i choose for computer science
Is bsc in cs worth it in manchester?????
I heard Manchester is really good for that!
What do you do during the short holidays? Like do you go back to youre home or stay there like??
Some people stay! I usually go back home
A strong passion for languages was born in me but I'm not good at it, I don't know if my fatigue is connected to my being sensitive, introverted and blocked or not because I noticed that most people can study languages easily , I don't know if they were all born with the innate predisposition and I together with the minority are the only losers who don't have it and if you need to have a talent not to struggle with languages Ă·+Ă
how many students do you have in a lecture?
As an international student, didnât you habe to go to INTO Manchester? I applied for UoM and my first year as an international student will be in INTO
Hello! No, not all international students need to do it :)
I did my Foundation course last academic year in INTO and now I will study EEE at UoM !! However if you need any help or questions about the foundation year feel free to ask đđ»
@@Ibnalkhail Hi , may I ask some questions about INTO Manchester ??
@@moniakhalid7138 yeah sure

Are there any Arabic girls there that you get to know or an a hijabi girl? I am just curious đ€·đŒ
Yeah! Manchester is very multicultural! My mentor was a hijabi girl. I have met many

:(
Dont be sad
totally agree! I have the same experience as you, especially with society and accommodation, feel quite alone in Manchester.
I understand! It can be quite lonely. If you ever need anything or someone to talk, I am here!
what was the strike for?
I believe it was related to pensions
how do you pay only 9k as an international student? isn't it 19k?
Hello! Although I am an international student (non-U.K.), I am part of the EU status which is the same tuition fees of the U.K
@@Celinassousa starting BA finance in September for an annual fee of 24kđ„đȘ
@@Celinassousalucky you got in before the end of this year, as the UK is ex EU from next year.
Hi! what about the maintenance?
Hello! What are you talking about? Maintenance loan?
Yes.. I know that someone can get the maintenance loan
zakaria barraj yes! You can get it if you are from the U.K. or have lived there for more than 5 years I believe
I also want to study law and politics but how does that work, aren't you studying the laws of England? Is your law degree valid in your home country?
It depends! Your degree is not enough to practice law. But if I continue studying to become a lawyer in the UK I can only practice in England and Wales
What were the strikes about đ?
I believe they were about pensions
Olivia McArdle Longo I believe they were about pensions
If you canât afford to study in the UK, donât. Why apply to study in another country if you know youâll need a foreign government to pay for your studies?
Hello Marianne. Itâs a choice that you have to make. Not everybody can afford to pay top education, doesnât mean we donât deserve it. And the government does not pay, they give you a loan. I will pay 100% of my loan plus interest.
@@Celinassousa There are excellent universities all around the world, many of which are cheaper than the UK or even free (including for international students).
Marianne Chadwick I didnât find universities that taught in English and were cheaper than the U.K. with the possibility of having the tuition fees paid by the government
@@Celinassousa Do you get to loan as much as you need?? (Sorry I'm still in my sophomore year of high school and don't know much about how loaning works :| )
