  • Hello CZcamsrs and Programmers,
I would like to show and share about how to implementation software TIA Portal V17 PID control using temperature sensor and PLC S7-300.
In this video everyone will learn about how to create PID control example by using PLC S7-300 with temperature sensor, RTD, Pt-100 and connect with TIA Portal V17.
If everyone have any questions please kindly drop comment under my videos or contact me by:

These video series are very good in providing the required PLC skills step by step.
However, using writing instead of talking makes the videos too long and difficult to follow. 2.5 hours about PID is quite long time although the material provided is excellent and the instructor is very experienced... I think half an hour max for a single subject like PID is more than enough.

@@generaltechnologyknowledge5165 but if this is just a simulation how is the PV increasing? is there a real heater connected?? or are using a mA generator to simulate the PV manually in the background?

      @@mohammedabdulhakabdullaabd1121 Dear sir,
We can use global variables to adjust by manually such as slider...Next video I will show it how to do.
      Thanks

@@generaltechnologyknowledge5165 agreed...but have used a slider in this video to simulate the change in the PV following the change in the PID output?? I can't see the slider in the video. It would be nice if we know exactly how you achieved the change in the PV without a real process, sometimes even with big overshoot that you then very nicely overcome by changing the PID parameters. I like the video but I could not grasp this point about the PV change.

Can you please make this video with S7-1500 and without real PLC, only with simulation?
