YES ! Stratocaster, coil cable, Ampeg amp.1st class cool tone and playing! This band on that stage, the Kustom tuck and roll gold PA! Love it. Great audio recording.

LOL, the Kustom PA columns OMG. I still vividly recall going to the largest Kustom showroom in downtown Chicago back in the day. They were all the rage. My two favorite colors were the green sparkle and the blue sparkle. Nevermind the fact that the amps sounded like every typical solid state amp,compared to my Fender tube amps at the time, I was still completely drawn in by the hot rodded tucked look.They became hugely popular very quickly. As far as I know, they never did create an actual tube amp. Had they done that, and assuming it was a decent circuit, my guess is they'd still be wildly popular today. They dressed any gig up very nicely. As far as the Hi Jivers, what an awesome band. They stay true to their style and AJ is a criminally under followed player IMO. Just an awesome band with any players they've used, time and time again, so tight. Very cool stuff!!!
Great performance. Also that retro bowling alley is a perfect place for song's like this.

I saw this amazing band in Kansas City. I have to say, as wonderful as their videos are, they are even better in person. I love the artists Knuckleheads (the venue) brings in, and have seen some top tier artists, including Larkin Poe, Reverand Payton, Ally Venable and Joanna Conner. Loved every one of these bands, but I can say without a doubt "The Hi-Jivers" is the best I've seen in two years. Austin is a genius on the guitar and Dawna's vocals are out of this world. The whole band plays so well as an ensemble. If they ever come to your town, go see them.
