If Jordan Brand dropped a third colorway of their co.jp Air Jordan 1s in 2001, this Bordeaux colorway could have made the cut. A color made famous by 1992âs Air Jordan 7, the âBordeauxâ hue arrives on the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG on November 20th, sharing the same color-blocking and materials as those Japan-exclusives. However, these arenât an exact extension of those gems, and the evidence is on the tongue; while the co.jp drops (both of which re-released in 2020) embroidered a Jumpman onto the tumbled leather, this version opts for the standard nylon with the classic label. Air Jordan 1s were once again a massive hit in 2021 despite the lack of original colorways. With the exception of the âNeutral Greyâ in â85 form, Jordan Brand introduced new colorway after colorway, with this wine red iteration being the latest. There are still a few more left to go in 2021 (such as the Air Jordan 1 âPatent Bredâ on December 30th), so stay tuned and get your funds in order because there are still some great Air Jordan 1s to come.

High quality materials. The color is unique so maybe tough to match with clothes but they look and feel so good they are worth the investment. I bought 2 as I anticipate wearing a pair while keeping one fresh for collection or resale.

The Co.Jp got a 1 up because of the nubuck/suede used. I think numbered pairs are dope but after the homage to home did numbers it didnât bubble like it should of. So I understand why JB switch it up

Great review. I think the problem with these for me is that the other Jordan Bordeaux models incorporated a lot of black and in my option that makes the âburgundyâ (Bordeaux) really pop. These donât have any hint of black which is so present on the 6&7. I think If they made the wings logo black and maybe the outsole black these would be a top 10. It would have been cool as well to see these get a âblack toeâ type color way
I ended up painting the swoosh black and it makes it look even better
