SUNSHINE and RAINBOWS: ICE-OFF in KAMLOOPS! Featuring MINA, the worlds cutest fly fishing dog!

Mina and I started out the stillwater season with a bang! A three day road trip to the Kamloops area, where we fished two lakes loaded with hungry rainbow trout.
Days one and two were great, but day three was a real special one. My rods were bent for a lot of the day, many double headers, some real pretty fish. You'll see some absolute chaos where I managed to double up TWICE while battling the same fish!
It was also very cool to share the lake on day 3 with some living legends in the BC fly fishing world; Brian Chan, and the Freschi brothers Don and Dale were also taking advantage of this being one of very few ice free lakes at the time.
