- Here is the scene that some of you ladies have been asking for. It's from the season 7 Cheyenne episode "Vengeance Is Mine" No doubles here, it looks like it's all Clint and Leo.
- Krátké a kreslené filmy
The one guy you can believe could have a chance against Clint. Always good to see Leo.
Loved Leo Gordon's villain roles in westerns, most notably Cheyenne. I loved to watch Clint Walker and Leo brawl. Night of the Grizzly is a classic starring both. I still watch both every chance I get.
leo gordon was one of the great all time villains, what a voice to match his face...even remember him on the andy griffith show
He was also the guy that John Wayne punched in Mclintock
Thank you Sir for serving our country,
and thank you for playing in and starring in so many great westerns through the years.
R. I. P.
LEO🐎 GORDON
Just watched this entire episode and loved it. Clint Walker what a man! Mercy!
His descent off the horse is so elegant!!! I played it about 6 times - he executes it like a dancer!
I would never miss Clint Walkers Cheyenne Bodie. He. Is so Handsome and that voice of his lovely. Great Man
I know these two had a great time working together. Would loved to see bloopers when they were laughing together.
What are you talking?,,this was a REAL fight over a gambeling bet!
That wears me out everytime I watch it....but boy is it good to watch....think I'll watch it again....
Best Classic TV Western fight scene bar none. You can still catch this episode on Encore Westerns.
This must be one of the longest tv fights ever, almost like the same one that Clint And Leo had In THE NIGHT OF THE GRIZZLY!
Leo Gordon...Did 4 years for armed robbery in San Quinten...One tuff customer according to guards and prisoners. He was in 170 films and TV shows combined, even wrote some TV and movies scripts!!!!
Leo Gordon was a prolific screen-writer in addition to his acting career.
He was known as a very intelligent person and very well read. He was also known as a gentleman and a consummate professional in his acting career.
No stunt doubles in that fight!
don't turn your back clint. leo Gordon played a great villain
Two of my Best Cowboy Actors!!❤🤠
Leo Gordon was an interesting person. He was popular in westerns in particular as a heavy. Although he had done some prison time in his early years over an attempted bank robbery, in stark contrast to his on screen persona, Leo Gordon was a quiet and intelligent man and said by many to be a "consummate professional" in the film acting profession. A very interesting person and I would love to have been able to see him speak in an interview. If there is an interview with him anywhere on you tube etc, I cannot find it. Leo Gordon and Clint Walker were apparently close friends.
I agree, an interview with Gordon would've been great.
@@gerrydooley951 - I agree with that one as well.
GOTTA LOVE BOTH OF THESE GUYS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
1 OF THE BEST WESTERN FIGHT SCENES EVER !!!!!!
Without a doubt as I can't and won't argue with that one what so ever!!!!!
Unless you consider the ones in Kung Fu. I always thought most fights in westerns were just two guys taking turns hitting each other.
Leo Gordon used every bit of hardware on that farm as a weapon, but he missed the most important dirty trick every bad guy uses in a fight. He forgot to throw dirt in the hero's eyes! I was waiting for that! The bad guy always throws dirt in the hero's eyes! It's right there in the bad guy's book of fighting techniques!
yeah he forgot to throw the dirt LOL (awesome)
Joe P
If he'd done that, then he'd had
"dirt on Cheyenne". lol
@@t4texastomjohnnycat978 - That's funny!!! I like that one!!!
He also managed to destroy a lot of his own property during the fracas......the front door, a window, the water barrel and his picket fence.....makes him a double loser ha ha
Clint Walker was a good good guy, and Leo Gordon was a good bad guy.
CLINT WALKER I LOVE WESTERN CLINT IS AWESOME IN THIS SCENE I APPRECIATE CLINT SO MUCH AND HE GOT A BEAUTIFUL VOICE HE'S SING LIKE A ANGEL LOVE HIM❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Excellent fight between 2 Tv Screen Legends Walker and Gordon! Both of them could be Great NHL players!
The hit 'em with everything including the kitchen sink episode on Cheyenne 8^)
When I first seen Leo Gordon it was in a prison film, "Riot in Cell Block 11" for which I at first mistook for Jack Palance!!!
BUT after getting a second look, I said to myself whoever this guy is, he sure as hell makes a good right hand man to ringleader Neville Brand. After finding out he was Leo Gordon, I say that he's among my favorite film villainous types.
Great fight scene, a real knock down drag out.
Dustin Blythe I haven't heard that phrase in years, knock down drag out, my Dad use to say that! Back in my day.
Yeah as some say that this fight can make the climax fight scene in "Frankenstein Meets the Wolfman "look as though neither monster laid a pinky on one another....LOL!!!
Leo Gordon was one of the most reliable, well prepared character actor bad guys in the business and he was also credited with writing many episodes for TV (including Cheyenne) and several motion pictures (Tobruk) as Leo V Gordon. He may have lost some fights but they were always to men like Clint Walker and John Wayne and even they didn't find it easy. Gordon was a great talent. One of his last appearances was in Mel Gibson's movie version of "Maverick."
Leo Gordon was as tough as he looked. In real life this would have been quite a battle even though Clint is a lot bigger..
MR. GONDON WAS MY FAVORITE BAD GUY AND ALWAYS WILL BE !
The best "mean outlaw" in westerns.....
1. JACK PALANCE in "Shane"
2. LEE MARVIN in "The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance"
3.Just about anything Leo Gordon played in.
Honorable mention-Henry Fonda in
"Once Upon A Time In The West"
That's for sure as I can't and won't argue with that one what so ever! And the speaking of " The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance", I just saw it only few nights ago on cable. That and "Shane" are among my favorites when it comes to any western films.
Also, Sean Connery and Robert Shaw in "From Russia with Love".
OMG !!!! What a Fight what a M A N !! ThanXX
this is about as close as it comes to real, had two of these, still hurt 45 years later, two of the best actors who ever graced the silver screen,WALKER AND GORDON did real good, rip boys
I love Clint walker he is so handsome
NEVER ASK MR. GORDON HAVE U HAD ENOUGH !!!!!!!!
this is, Sylvester, James and I am a big fan of, cheyenne,, bodies
this was a good one no doubles & i always thought leo gordon was a big guy next to clint - nope - the hooked up good again in the "night of the grizzley" another good clint walker movie - class guy - never heard any scandles about him so far - now back to the fight
This is among the best fight scenes along with the one with John Wayne and Victor McLaglen in "The Quiet Man " and the diner fight scene with Rock Hudson and Mickey Simpson in the movie "Giant"!!!
Of all these guys, the one I would not want to fight was "Sarge" - Mickey Simpson. He actually shows some boxing skills in his fight.
Both of these Super Bad A_ _ es, tought me the moves i needed to get through the weekly parking lot after school fights🔥 ,,,,God Bless em,,n RIP
NEVER TURN UR BACK ON MR. GORDON !!!!!!!!
Martin DEAN he was a great actor and very kind man
@@johnnyllooddte3415 - Due to the way you comment Leo Gordon, it seems though you possibly knew him personally.
If so, to let you in on something. I say he and Neville Brand sure as hell made a good team up together in " Riot in Cell Block 11",
plus played a good outlaw in the Robert Mitchum western "Man With the Gun".
How many times did Clint Walker's characters beat the crap out of Leo Gordon's characters in various tv shows and movies?
Let's see! Roughly 4 times???? LOL 👊💥💥🤛💥👊🤧🤕😅🤣
@@raymondsteen5316 probably more than that
Not sure of an exact number but that's easiest answered as a LOT!! LOL!!😎👍
Two guys you wouldn`t pick a fight with!
Can't and won't argue with that one what so ever!!!!!!!
one of the best or the best tv fight ever
Great fight scene! I think I now know where Roddy Piper and Keith David got the inspiration for that one fight scene in They Live!
Omg I was thinking the same!
What the hell was Leo Gordon made of??...
...STEEL???!!!!!...
Wonder how long it actually took to get this right and how many retakes there were.?
leo's life story would make a great movie
Agree on that one bigtime!!
Who would play him?
I met Leo Gordon once many moons ago and I thought he was a big man but standing next to Clint Walker I see who is bigger. LOL
The only other fight you could compare it with was in Ride Beyond Vengeance 1966 between Chuck Connors and Claude Akins.
Yeah that's right, kick some asses there as we can sure as hell wouldn't mind watching a good hard slugging out fisticuffs here! 👊💥🤧🤛💥🤕👊💥🤕🤛💥👊... LOL
😄😀😃😅😂🤣😄
2 great movie rough and toughs back in their day!👍😉🇺🇸
Clint Walker R.I.P
Leo Gordon R.I.P
☆☆☆☆☆☆☆
Thankyou thankyou thankyou. Nothing beats two big guys dukin' it out. For four minutes yet. Did they get hurt doing this? I'm a drama coach--yes they did.
Clint Walker in a Superman Outfit. Would of been perfect.
And people say the fight scene from They Live (1988) is too long.
I want my 2013 Clint Walker
If they ever used Clint as Batman they sure wouldn't need to use the muscle suit under the Batman suit or under the Superman suit for that matter.....but really I think for Clint to play either of them would be degrading....he definitley wasn't made to play a stupid cartoon super hero....he is better than that by far....
Real men x
Theo, what would we do without you? Thank you!
william smith and rod tsylor going at it in darker than amber was an amazing fight. wonder why smith was not cast opposite walker as a bad guy.
yes, i dont see any stunt men there.......they were both very tough guys!
these two are real men,not just fancy dressed up for the parts,in real life they'd of killed each other, both tougher than a pine knot, young boys, these are real men,to look up to,men of yesteryear, they come up from the old generation, that grabbed a gun for war only
The ultimate screen fight would have been Leo Gordon versus William Smith.
That would be a good match.
Let William Smith know...

@@mothertree - That's for sure as I can't and won't argue with that one what so ever!!!!!!
@@raymondsteen5316 Leo Gordon was jumped by 3 men outside after a boxing event...he killed one of the men and faced manslaughter charges in court and did win..
I sure would like to see Clint in "Hardcase" do youy know where I can buy it. Also he looked a little sick or was he dieting
Time to kick some ass 🤠💥🤠💥🤠💥🤠💥
Great fight scene. It was wonderful not to see that dumpey, out of shape, big nosed stunt man do it this time like a lot of the shows since it started being called the Cheyenne Show. It looked like all Clint. What a man!!!!!
Yikes, don’t mess with the big guy!!!
Why is it every Cowboy named Clint has to be handsome?
They also had a Fight in "Night of the Grizzly".
that fence was not properly nailed together. that was a potential safety hazard.
Leo Gordon on the set and you identify the fence as a safety hazard Lol
You're right, It's not OSHA approved
@@gerrydooley951 - That's funny! I like that one!!! .....LMAO!!!
Fool me once shame on you! Fool me twice...............
Very few guys meaner than Mr Gordon or menacing.. maybe Jack Palance in his heyday.. quite a few actors said he was the scariest man they have ever met.
Pónganlo en español latinoamericano 👍👍👍👍
ALL THAT PUNCHING AND NO BLOOD
Man! A shovel, an ax, a pitch fork and a grappling hook. This guy's in the wrong biz'ness. He should open up a hardware store immediately. Cheyenne is the man! I call him the superman of the west.
Sidenote: Ever notice in the 1950's Superman tv series after criminals had emptied their gun into Superman's chest they would throw the gun at him and he would move to the side or duck? Those guns must have been made from Kryptonite! Had to be.
Why are their shirts still on?
Come on boys put on some trunks and let's wrestle!
Yeah. That was a dumb fight. For one thing, you don't turn your back on the guy. Secondly, if he's knocked down and out, how does he get back up so quick,? Leo Gordon, when did he ever fight fair?
