I'm going through the top 20 Favorite Video Game Songs of all time as voted on by my community. This came in at number 18!
I'm a huge souls fan, and I'm an even bigger fan of the music from the games. The Dark Souls medley I did almost 10 years ago is still one of my favorite arrangements I've done and love to play it live. I first played Bloodborne about 5 years ago, but never got very far because I jumped right into it after completing Dark Souls 3 and I found myself a bit souls'd out. I've come back to play it a few times, but never finished it so I never got to experience this fight. However, I'm so glad this was voted on so many times because it is a wonderfully melodic and evil song in a style I love to play in.
I've been really trying to work on my sound these past few weeks to get back in the grind of making weekly videos and I feel like it came together nicely on this one. Some parts didn't end up sounding exactly as I wanted, but the entire Holy Blade sections rhythms were doubled with an 8-String guitar an octave down. All of that with a full orchestra was very tricky to mix together, but I think I did a pretty decent jogb getting everything heard while still keeping the mix punchy and dynamic. Hope you agree!

My favorite boss theme of all time. Honestly it’s part of the boss. The dance of the deadly duel between the hunter and Ludwig flows with such grace to this song. Amazing job Jules!!!

This is the perfect opportunity to mention that there is a long list of reasons why I can safely say that Ludwig is my favorite boss in any FromSoft game, but this cover reminds me why his theme is at the top of that list of reasons.
Also, this is an equally good opportunity to mention that Bloodborne needs a port, a remaster, a sequel, *ANYTHING* at this point to make it more than just a playstation exclusive.
