Thanks for following the journey of Mister Cedar being built. He is a 2020 Ford Transit Connect converted for a retired fireman from North Carolina. It was a pleasure getting to know him and having to build this van for him.
This van conversion has it all & fully loaded and it costed only $20,000 to convert. *This price can fluctuate depending on your needs/wants. Email us for an estimate for your specific build. This price reflects for Mister Cedar only*
As mentioned in the video, yes... we know it's a little tight in the van. However, The bed was built around the size of the toilet and the fridge. If you don't want either of those, we can definitely go lower with the bed ;) However, our client was really happy with the build!

Nice build. I am working on a 2019 transit connect. One option you guy could consider is a roof rack. I built a rack on mine using factory holes and low profile unistrut. I mounted the solar and rifle case to rack. Very modular, if needs change, also roof storage is nice. The rifle is low profile, so I can still parking in a garage. Thanks for sharing!!
Yes, we installed roof rails if it doesn't come with it. That is where the solar panels get mounted on to. Thanks for your comment!!

Very beautiful clean build. I would love to see you guys convert a full sized van. You have the micro van conversion down. One thing i like that i have seen on some other builds is a valve that can be opened to drain your grey water tank out the bottom of the van when you are in an area that would be appropriate to do so. If you are using environmentally friendly hand soap it’s a good option since your grey water tank is not very big. Keep up the great job!
We did do a big van build (our first van we ever built!). We are finishing up the series for the van shortly however we do have 3 videos on that so far. We do plan on building bigger vans in the near future.

New subscriber, love this van build for a tiny space. Just started looking at van builts cause I’ve been traveling solo in my car, car camping as I travel US. I definitely know I want a bigger vehicle (vanlife) and was thinking small cause saving gas. So this would be perfect! Thank you 😊

This is nothing short of amazing! I’ve been doing a ton of research on transit connect camper builds in anticipation of buying and building my own, but this one is by far the most elegantly laid out and well built build I have seen so far, great job! I’m located in Florida, so I probably wouldn’t need the heater, but what would be an approximate cost for a build similar to this if I were to bring a clean and empty transit connect?

I would have put windows 🪟in the doors as well. I also like some hanging space. The countertop is pretty, and thank goodness you included a TOILET 🚻! 👍
But can't use the toilet once you go to bed. It's completely under the bed. At least from.what I observed. But live all the other features.. just need access to toilet at night..

That'd be great, however unfortunately there is not a lot of room underneath the van for a 7 gallon tank. 2.5 was the most we could fit.

Its beautifull made just a bit worried about the diesel fill I wish it has a key to secure it.
Great job guys! Does the grey water have a heating pad on it? If not, do you recommend anything to have for it not freeze in lower temps?
No it does not. However since it is only 2.5 gallons, you can dump it frequently to prevent it from freezing.

Some great ideas in here. One thing though, the lighting control doesn't have a screen so it's touch sensitive, but not a touchscreen.

Love your designs. We are shopping for a small camper van now. We are trying to choose between the Ford Transit Connect and the Ram Promaster City. Our garage door is low at 6’5” so van height and Add ons (fan, solar) are a concern. Any suggestions? Also subbed 👍
