- It's ANOTHER beauty from the TNT Amusements craftsmen! Look at this 1980 machine--made from TWO machines! Plus...take a look at the game we foudn in the warehouse---with FOUR PCB Boards inside---and a switch to switch between the 4 games! what could those games be? A quick look at a Gottlieb TEED OFF we were working on too.

Defender has the best looking cab, especially the control panel ever!
That is the best looking Defender I have ever seen. Who ever owns that cabinet got a rare beauty!
We think customer will be thrilled!!
Best arcade game ever invented!
Many agree!
Omg i'm gonna melt! My old hobby was saturday arfternoon in Dundee hogging Defender for 10 pence for nearly 4 hrs when i was 14 y.o. Loathed by the arcade owner i clocked it 5 times and had to stop at 5,999,990 ! Hall of fame for many years after i'd left the country. It's been a pleasure seeing her again. Many thanks .
You're welcome!
I'm 49 now, but this was really a walk down memory lane for me. I live in the arcade game room in the late 70's, early 80's. Defender and Stargate were my to favorites. my initials were ET. I owned the high score in my area. often times I had to share with other pros like myself. and then one day I decovered something I like better than video games, girls ! The rest is history. When I look back, I miss these games.
Thanks for your post! Its neat to hear about how people found and loved these games!
It's pretty insane that a micro sd installed in a retro pi can literally fit each and every arcade came that was ever created. Nonetheless, it's nice that these old Arcade machines are being restored and sold for a new generation to enjoy.
This was a favorite of mine, even though I sucked, big time, on it. LOL If only I were local. I'd have bought that dead Defender cab. Thanks for the video.
Love your channel..it´s like in dream land bringing back good memories.
captn hanky Glad you have subscribed! Keep watching!

my favorite arcade game
Great video Todd! Please show more of the warehouse too I love that stuff!
The new movie being released on June 15th (in less than 2 weeks!) to both limited run theaters and DVD "THE KING OR ARCADES" has a great sequence with me and our warehouse!! LOOK FOR IT!! There is a Facebook page now for it!
I still have the orange bound manual that came with my Defender when I got it. I've had the machine sitting in my living room since 1984. It's probably worth a whole lot more than the 175 I paid for it.
Many people took those manuals out and put in a drawer only to throw them out later. It was always best to leave inside the game
Good work young man! Excellent.
Thanks Paul!
I love defender. Mines a crappy repro but it plays ok
You are a genius
Wish my wife thought that!
I bet i would love the smell of that place!
especially when one of the boys "cuts one"!
I was just the right age when it was released
Myself and my friend and my nephew became so good at it we had highscores on many machines
Hours on one quarter
CAB was my highscore initials
"Wretched power supply"
Copyright Todd Tuckey!
Good job on this one. Fine work as always.
Yes...I SHOULD copyright it!!
TNT Amusements Inc You should complain to the companies who made the parts for the power supply. Tell them, it barely lasted 30 years. ;P
+TNT Amusement Inc I'd say that Defender is probably the "boxiest" arcade machine I've ever seen.
Ice cold beer!!!! =O I want one!
Just picked up a defender cabinet. Someone converted it over to double dribble. Should I change it back ?😎
Man I wish I was nearer
....especially if you have a wallet full of money!
What would be a good price on a defender that needs some work. Not running.? Anyone got any input there is one posted by me, but she is way to high I'm thinking.
Four games in one cabinet! That no one wants to play!
HAHAHAHA... "Y..y...you can't... HAVE YOU PLAYED ATARI TODAY?"
Priceless!
I love that commercial!
TNT Amusements Inc
I was still stuck on a Vic20 though :P which did have a space invaders I think think you need to like tour the country for dead arcade/pinball games.
@@SagePatrynXX I was stuck with both a VIC20 and an Atari 2600. After I stopped buying Atari carts, I still bought some VIC-20 carts.
I have a Ice Cold Beer on location in Metro Detroit for the past year. It looks great next to the Tapper at the craft beer bar.
Hope it made money too!
So glad I am subscribed to your awesome channel. I saw it, right there are 5:23... I so knew what it was and I had to order it! I plan to pay it off as quickly as I can because I so am wanting it now! Yes... Gorf will be mine!!! Thank You again Todd! You are simply the bestest! I will be sending you more money soon! :)
Great! Your Gorf will be ready for you when you are ready for Gorf!!!
I’m trying to remember, did Defender ever have the joystick be able to move left, right, up and down or has it always been only an up and down joystick?
Did the Defender 2 joystick move left and right?
No...Defender and the Defender 2 always were up and down...never any provision for left and right.
TNT Amusements Inc Okiedoke. Thanks for the info to help me remember.
ICE COLD BEER!!! =O I want one!!!
You can always get one at the local pub!
I have an Original Willaims Defender but my smart button has stopped working! Any ideas?
I should quit my job and work for you guys! Tired of working on the new crap! LOVE the old stuff, that is what I grew up with.
they had a stargate machine at cydercade in dallas texas... but they sent it off for repairs?? crap what we supposed to do????
we upgraded our defender with an LCD. We are having Sync problems. Any help is appreciated.
Anyone have any ideas? Bad sync board maybe?
in the service id watch my roomie dump 1/2 of his pay in this machine & beer
That poor slob! But is he a Multi-Millionaire today or penniless?
Got a working Space Tactics by any chance?
haven't seen one in many years...only owned two!
Does Defender have a vector based "television set"?
"The Defender" (as the commercial says) uses a standard raster monitor...many had the wonderful Wells Gardner 4600 chassis, like this one does!
I thought I seen a revolution X 2 gun version in the warehouse. Don't see many of those.
yes...have a 2 gun in warehouse and a 3 gun in our showroom right now!
Todds warehouse is exciting... did u guys fix the that cobra command arcade seen in this video...
We work on games as they are ordered! No one ordered it yet...although I get "dreamers" that write to me all the time about getting it!
How much would it be to fix cobra up?
Game going 2 Australia...is it fire-proof?
That was mean!!
@@tntamusements I prefer the term topical...but there u go. Lol.
Wow all the head aches to be had fixing all those games in the warehouse . Are all those games from distributors you've bought out over the years ?. Is there arcade auctions in the USA ? .
We have sold almost 25,000 machines now....so these few hundred are a drop in the bucket! There are still arcade auctions, but fewer and fewer each year as the supply shrinks (combining two games to make one, for instance)
TNT Amusements Inc Yeah, but doesn't TNT do the same thing (sometimes) combine two machines to make one? You're shrinking your own supply market.
Sorry, I don't mean to point fingers. It's definitely understandable to combine two pinball machines to make one, with all of the physical parts that can break (ramps, drop-targets, spot targets, plastics, jet-bumper domes), if people don't supply the parts anymore, and you can't produce duplicates, but what's the reasoning for combining two video games to make one; like your recent Defender?
So u guys in Philly?
We are above Philly...in Bucks County
Bucks county above Philly
How much for the Defender
Is that an ICE COLD BEER I saw in the warehouse? What do you ask for one of those?
It is $1999...but that one is on layaway...and no others (we have perhaps 30 games in warehouse people are making payments on!)
TNT Amusements Inc
which if I ever had the omph to go for one is about the only way I can pay for it. and not the way the idiot in the nutty letters did it either. do'h
...yes, but do you have a Sea Wolf??? LOL
none that are M - I - N - T !
What about the Television outside? A donor for something?
+Hirthirthirt for the recyclers!!
Yes but is it from TNT? Do you take the tube out, or what?
Love seeing the warehouse. Too bad the Crime Fighters is in a one player cab. ;(
I thought it was a 4 player....
The mall where I grew up in had the two player version where there was the gay man and the horny dog not edited out like another version I've seen before. It had the 3 lives and a 4 square power meter. Best arcade game ever. Sadly it's probably been disposed of...
I'm sure there's a few of us nuts that would clean this stuff up for free. then just camp out on the roof ;)
Frank at the end what a CREEP!
He continues to be mean to me even today!
Where's Williams?
Bankrupt!
That makes me sad.
Here's an example of gameplay by Mikael Lindholm, the top guy still playing. Definitely recalls the original genre! czcams.com/video/yrkx6vuiMrE/video.html
+modolief Amazing gameplay...fascinating to watch! Thanks for sharing!
Did anyone ever finger the rejected coin slot?
HELLO MR i m eric of FRANCE i well com whith your entrepot for enderstand the technical repair of pinballs and all the borne ;please ; i m very motive and serious ; eric bye
+Thylis Eric Not sure I understand the question...but I hope the videos help out!
What is the point in bringing back old technology?
so we can play games that rocked... stupid..
Wallace is gonna choke somebody, someday. :P
Wallace loves to be on the videos...as you see, he has his own style and personality that's perfect for us!
TNT Amusements Inc I like Wallace.
im going buy a few acrade unit but i like one that has a vga out so i can plug it in to my stream on twitch :)
all the new LCD arcade games have that plug on the monitor.
