CSX and Amtrak trains through Ashland, VA / Train Horn warning signals and more!

Finally made the upgrade to HD, got a new camcorder for Xmas! Tested it out by making a trip to Ashland, VA. Very nice town with a lot of CSX and Amtrak action. Here is just a few of the trains we came across. Pretty cool to catch the freights giving a warning toot as they're rolling through the station.

Ashland, VA! In my neck of the woods I see. Unfortunately this was during the time I was out of town, but I would've loved to have railfanned with you. Hopefully that time will be soon!! Wonderful video as well!

Ashland is a registered QZ, which means quiet zone. Not many trains honk their horns unless the engineer deems it necessary.

great video... one thing...I know most people want the cinematics of multiple camera angles, but for thoes of us who like to car count do you have and single shots of longer freight trains?
